have been closed and which stores are open??? I posted this earlier, but messed up and posted in the DDP sections...OOOOPS...so, please, excuse me if you are reading this for the second time. I often get my Disney T-shirts at one of our semi-local Disney Stores and am having trouble finding out which stores have closed and which will remain open...Does anyone know if the Disney stores in Castleton Square Mall or Greenwood Park Mall (both in the Indy area) have been closed???? I get to them about every 3-4 months...the last time I was there was April and both were still open, but I know that many have closed very recently. I need to go get my Disney Store fix soon but do not want to make the "pilgrimage" if they have been closed. Also, if anyone knows of a website that lists the closed open stores, that would be WONDERFUL! Thanks to everyone in advance!

The Greenwood Mall one is still open. I know they closed the Circle Center store, but I'm not sure about Castleton. I think it's still open. You could call them

this is probably won't help you, but i visited one in ft. wayne a few weeks ago. i suppose if you get desperate, you could journey to that one.:confused3

Thank you so much! At least I know I can get my fix in Greenwood...and the PLUS to it is that store is my favorite of the two :yay:

The gals at our Lafayette store (before it closed a couple of weeks ago :( ) told me that Castleton would be one of the ones staying open for sure. Not sure about the others. So now we have to wait to get our Disney store fix when we go down to visit the grandparents.

pednurse, I heard the Lafayette store closed...I am so sorry :( packofjedis, Thanks for the info about Castleton...I need to take my rings into The Shane Co for maintenance so that will be PERFECT! Doing the happy dance knowing I will be able to get my fix at my normal/local locations :cool1:

pednurse ~ Wanted to say hi, I'm in Lafayette as well. So sad about the Disney Store ::yes:: . It was my fix in between WDW trips.

I was in the Castleton store a couple of weeks ago. Since they moved into the old Childrens Place store at the mall, I don't think they have much anymore. Its so small and it just isn't the same. It always has the feel of an outlet store, not the nice spread out feeling the other store had.

:wave2: Hi, dznyacct! Small world... My poor 6-year-old DD cried when she found out that it had closed. :( She just had to go in there any time we were at the mall and was just devastated the last time we went and it was already closed. I know where she'll be asking Grandma to take her next time the kids go down to visit though! ::yes::

I agree...I like the Greenwood store MUCH, MUCH better! There is so much more to choose from and it just feels more like "The Disney Store"

And if you haven't been to Greenwood since they redid the mall, it's fabulous. It has a whole new outdoor section and tons of new restaurants.
