Hey,
Somehow I only just found your PJ!
I looooooooove all the unique elemts you have going on, and can't wait to see everything coming together, as we're hoping for SBP almost exactly a year after you!

Just finished looking at your website too. It's so detailed, you did an awesome job!!! It's much better than mine is :worship:

Thank you! I spent a LOT of time on it - and after the new iLife came out I simply had to give it a go. It still needs some more updating, but it's coming along...i got the bulk of it out of the way at least. I'd love to see yours!! If you don't want to post it, PM me!! Please!!!!! :hyper:

Thank you so much!! Yay for October brides!! I love your avatar btw, that costume is KILLER!! (Hey, maybe you should start your own business? :rotfl2: )

Great website!! And your dress is gorgeous! I think my favorite part of your planning journal are those rings- they are so unique and beautiful! Your wedding is going to be great!! :)

I'm just now getting around to reading your PJ - great stuff! Your dress is beautiful and BTW - you don't need to lose 20 lbs. If you need to lose 20 then I need to lose 40!

Also...I LMAO at the email your aunt sent you!:rotfl2:

the dress is beautiful, oh and I took a look at your website...it's fantastic!!!!! I am so jealous.

Moving on... (good thing I have so much free time today at work! :rotfl2:)

So, my mom is an AMAZING cake decorator and she volunteered to make my cake for the reception. Obviously Disney will be doing the one for Florida. Anyway, our reception theme is the age-old disney couples theme. Each table will be a different couple. Here's who we have so far:

Belle & Beast
Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head
Pongo & Perdita
Flik & Princess Atta
Mickey & Minnie
Milo & Kida
Snow White & The Prince
Mike Wazowski & Celia
Chicha & Pacha
Dorie & Marlin
Jasmine & Aladdin
Peter & Wendy
Woody & Bo Peep
Ariel & Eric
Aurora & Phillip
Mr. Incredible & Elastigirl
Simba & Nala
Mulan & Shang
Cinderella & Prince Charming

Our head table is going to be Jack and Sally, because like I said DF is absolutely obsessed and just with the knickknacks we have around the house we can certainly decorate the table. Anyway, I found a corpse bride cake that my mother is going to alter to be our wedding colors (black, white and violet). And a matching grooms cake. It IS all fondant, which I don't particularly care for, but since I'm not really a "cake" person anyway, I chose it because it looked fantastic. I love the lopsided look!!

We also found these on ebay (GOD BLESS EBAY!!)

They're a nice thick heavy glass too, I was afraid they were going to be cheesy because I didn't pay a lot for them (I think like $20). Although, when I was just looking for a pic, I saw THESE on ebay and I LOVE them even more. Should I blow the 70 bucks and get the crooked colored ones?

Here's the cake topper I found this christmas at FYE:

Its really just a playset, but the figgies are poseable, so you can make them hold hands... ADORABLE.

Love that cake topper and everything and your dress is awesome!! i can not wait till you wedding is here and to see the pictures!!!! I love halloween themed weddings!!!! Tim loves nightmare before christmas too lol!!!! He thinks your theme is the best lol.

Alissa- Your aunt's email was cracking me up! It is fantastic! How cool of her to do that!

Everything is just gorgeous, and original. I love it!

Thank you so much. We were so happy with fSIL for finding those people for us - the rings are unbelievable. I got to see hers up close a few times and its even more gorgeous in real life. Theirs are Hawaiian koa.

Haha, Thanks, but this pic was 20 lbs ago!! :rotfl2: I would be perfectly happy getting back to that size (I'm not greedy!) :rotfl:

Thank you so much! I'm a huge computer nerd, not just with the wedding, but, like, in "real life". :rotfl:

Haha, that means a lot, thank you so much! I keep refering to you IRL and I think Tim is like, "omg, you're obsessed...seriously. :rotfl2:" I do keep teasing him about how Tim loves YOU enough to pop online and say hi. :rotfl:

Yeah, she is the best! (Honestly, I think i was having a *cough* pms *cough* moment. :confused3 It seems ridiculous now, but I really did feel horrible. :badpc: just reassures me that I shouldn't post at like 1 am. :rotfl:  Like, maybe I should go to bed...ha

So Alissa2008, have you seen the mickey ear hats that have the nightmare before Christmas face logo on them? I happened to stumble upon them when looking for something else on amazon.com....amazing what you can find there!:cool1:

Phone call with floral in 2 minutes! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

OMG no way! DF would go nuts!! :hyper:

I just went to look and I can't find them!:worried: do you remember what they were called?

I just got off the phone with Rosie from Disney Floral and we've officially added the following:

-Tussy Mussy Bouquet & matching boutonniere
-petals for the aisle (+$65)
-white bags with petals for tossing (+3.50x18=$63)
-petals for the cake table (+25)

For a grand total of +$153

So, I sort of stayed in budget, :rotfl:

Rosie is going to send me pics of the different violet/blueish flowers they have for petals. I'll post when I get them.

I'm still debating about a sand ceremony and she's going to send me pics of that too, although I've seen Lynns, so I think it's similar. It's only $25, so I'm leaning toward it (at least to make the ceremony a little longer :rotfl2:)... any opinions?

YES!!!! I'm so glad you went with OHANAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO lol you are going to love it...I was just thinking about you and what you decided to do..I haven't read that thread yet!!!!

Exciting news for your shower :)

You can never go wrong with Ohana!!! :thumbsup2

mmmmmmm Ohana. That has always been my favorite WDW restaurant!!

I'm actually thinking of having that be the rehearsal dinner or after wedding dinner!

Awesome! I'm really thinking we made the right choice, now I just need some spare time to make the freakin' call!!! :headache:

OMG I had a phone meeting with rosie today at 2:00 pm... she's busy! How did you stay so in budget I'm like off the charts, for just a simple escape wedding... It's embarrassing!

I'm glad you chose O'hana's! You'll love it!

Can't wait to hear more... oh btw, we're doing the Disney sand ceremony as well, just to lengthen the ceremony! :rotfl: Who cares about what it means right? Anything to make it longer than 10 minutes... :lmao: Kidding!

Haha...I hear you on the budget, I told myself at the beginning we would just do a small escape basic package...now I added an outside photographer, outside videographer and extra floral. :rotfl: It could be worse though! I could have upgraded the cake! :rotfl2:

Funny about the ceremony! Although, I do think it's sweet and sentimental, it's just I feel like it's not something I would get good use out of. And, we have a lot of clutter (still from moving in together) and I feel like it would be just one more thing I need to find a shelf for....:confused3

That is good news to hear that you have your ADR's all worked out. I haven't been to Ohanas before but I might have to go this trip! You don't have to pay for parking when going to the Poly unless you get valet parking. If not, they will just ask you to show ID. Just in case you don't know, you don't have to wait until 7PM to go to the MNSSHP. I think the earliest time is 4:00PM but we went at 4:30PM for the two parties I have been too.

I am having a sand ceremony because I have two kids and it is a way to incorporate them into the ceremony. Now I am just wondering how I am going to get sand on a cruise and back and on a couple of flights home?

I think I was just looking for "mickey ears" and it came up as one of the choices....dont think I have enough posts to attach the link for you, but try that and see if you find it that way. :surfweb:
