I will be attending September 16-19 and would also be interested in a September photopass share.
Do you know of any DLR only ones? I was hoping to get that special $79 photopass deal instead of the $99 at WDW.
Last year I was in a WDW photopass share and was also able to get my pix from DLR on it as well as WDW.
It was a great deal.
We preordered the CD for $99 and 6 of us shared it. Some have more share but the more people in your group, the more pix on the account, and the longer it takes to edit yours. I spend, conservatively 10-12 hours editting my pix.
So, this year, if I don't join a group I'm going to do my own but I'll get the $79 DLR rate. Here's how it works (as I just verified with CMs st Disney Rewards Visa Booth yesterday) as long as the last card loaded is from DLR then I will get the DLR rate of $79. If the last one is from WDW then it'll be at the WDW rate ($129, or $99 prepay). The only thing I won't be able to do is get the photo session at GF for only $25 (have to preorder CD to get that).
I know I'll go to DL in Sept as well as WDW so loading the DLR last won't be a problem. I'm still deciding if I'm going to offer to share my CD with others (DLR only) but I have plenty of time. If I work it right I can get almost 2 months of PP pix with one order. Here's how-my trip to WDW is 9/1 to 9/12. I can go to DLR starting on August 1st and make sure I open my account and load the cards by August 31 (30 days from date pix taken). Then I'll have until Sept. 30th to order my CD. I can load all my WDW pix and then go to DLR again, in Sept. (for Fall decorations
). If I don't go to DLR until I return from WDW then I'll have to open my account by 10/1 (or 30 days from first PP pix taken at WDW) and order my CD by Oct. 31st. Either way I can get up to 2 months of PP on one order.
I love PP, it's the only way I'm in some pictures (other than having PP take some of your group with your own camera which I have also done but I also like having the embellishments)
Here's one I got yesterday at DLR with the hitchhiking ghosts.
Here's a few from last Sept. at DLR
