Someone explain Lime Green to me?

I've read on here that lime green is like the Dis color? I don't understand really, if I have a lime green mickey head on my bag at the park, will other DISers know im apart of the Dis? i think it would be cool to see if anyone says hello!

I'm not entirely sure why, but lime green for the Disboards & orange for the podcast are the colors.

I had been posting on someones pretrippie and knew we were both staying at BWV overlapping dates. I did meet her on the Boardwalk because I saw her lime green mickey head on her bag

I also had someone come up to me in Epcot when they saw my PodSquad t-shirt

okay! cuz i was planning on getting some lime green mickey heads from homedepot and putting MegVeg on them and stick it on my bag and hope for the best!

This was discussed on one of the podcasts. Some DISers came up with the idea of wearing ribbons at Disney so they can identify each other. Lime green was chosen as the color of the ribbon because it wasn't taken by any other cause.

Yep. Alien Green Mickey heads, specifically. Does anyone else feel like their being very "un-disney" when they take a handfull of the heads when they have no intention of buying the paint? I almost feel like I need to buy a quart of the stuff just to keep my conscience clear.

I am here in WDW now - let me just say that about 70% of people are wearing lime green! Must be in the new "in" color. I also wore lime green every day, and had LGMHs on my purse. No one commented on the LGMHs and I didn't see a single other one the whole trip (until our DIS Meet last night - which was great - we had 10 DIS-ers there!)

There are also lime green mickey head keychains at the park, in a container with lots of other colors. They are $1.99.

I worked at home depot for 6 years and most recently in the paint dept. for 2 years.

We do not re-stock or keep count of these paint samples. the vendors for each paint company stocks them and stores tons of extra's for us just in case.

so, don't feel bad if you take all of them They are free and for your use.
