We're spending 2N at CR - Tower w/ theme park view!!!! Rest of our stay is at POFQ. Nope...I won't be switching THIS ressie at all! AAA discount on both portions too. I am soooooooo excited!!!!!!!

Ohmy gosh....thank you all for the pixie dust!!!! It was so hard to rationalize the increase for staying at CR vs. all 8N at POFQ....but it's something I've always wanted to do...and my ds8 is so excited about the possibility. Now I'm going to try and keep it a secret! They know I've been calling for a few days trying to score the room at CR w/ no luck. If I can just keep this to myself...what a surprise it will be to pull up at the Contemporary to check-in!!!!! I can hardly believe I got it!

Last summer we "resort hopped" and my very favorite was our Magic Kingdom View at the Contemporarty. It was truly amazing and I loved it so much that I didn't want to leave the balcony. As a matter of fact, I chose the bed next to the sliding glass door so I could prop myself up on my pillow and still look out and see Cinderella's Castle even from my bed. It was magical indeed! Enjoy every moment.

Did you decise to go in the beginning of the trip? I'm very happy for you - I know how much you wanted CR.

Yes, we'll be starting at CR, then moving to POFQ. I know it's a step in the wrong direction....but at least this way, I don't have to LEAVE Disney after experiencing CR..we can enjoy 6 more nights!!! AND...our first 2 full days are planned at MK and EP which will be SO much easier to get to from the Contemporary. I'm really happy. This is a dream come true!

And oh...shhhhhhh (tee hee) I'm not telling the kids! Boy is this going to be a hard secret to keep. In fact it's such a hard secret, we aren't telling anyone!!!! (ok, except all the disers! LOL) This is going to be soooooo great!

How much more did it cost to have 2 days at CR? My family is going to WDW 12/04 to 12/16. We are staying at POR. We asked our AAA TA about the cost of adding 2 nights at CR or AKL towards the end of the trip. He quoted us $800 additional. It doesn't sound right. (I understand if you don't reply. I'm being nosey.)
