Dh and I were discussing out up coming trip(ok it's in Sept '09 but it's coming up LOL) anyway he asked me if we booked let's say at POP and then the money fairy smiles on us can we up grade to a mod or maybe FtWilderness? Do we just pay the difference or do we have to cancel and rebook? TIA

If you already have the package booked, all you have to do is call and upgrade to the resort you want. They will change the resort and change your package and you only pay the difference. I have changed my resort many times in the past. I feel a need to do that this time too, but trying to just save the money instead.

Yes, you can switch :) I've switched from WL to POFQ to AKL and now (finally I hope!) to Poly all within a month :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: and we're not going until September!!!

How about if you booked with a code? I booked Pop Century for December, and now it looks like we might have an extra person. I was thinking POFQ might be better. Can you switch if it is available?

It depends if that code is available at he resort you want to upgrade to and if there are available rooms.

I'm so glad other people are as indecisive as I am...

I'm planning on doing the exact same thing.
We're registering for our honeymoon and if a bunch of people decide that they'd rather buy parts of our trip instead of strange picture frames and candlesticks, I'd be all for upgrading to something different.
Right now we're planning a split stay between POFQ and CR, but I'm not completely sure how I feel about switching resorts halfway through.
Even if we just get a little more, then I'd probably switch to Contemporary the full time or AKL Concierge, or split it between Contemporary and AKL Concierge.

My dream is the Poly, but the only rooms in the Poly with King beds are the suites, which means paying at least $590 a night. In Contemporary you can pay for a king bed for $340, and for AKL it's always a request.

AKL was my original choice months ago, but then I changed my mind.... over... and over... and over...

Unfortunately, we're both college students so we already have a ton of loans, and don't want to start marriage even further in the hole.

Though I did figure out I only have to have 50 people give me $50 towards my trip, and that would be $2500, which would cover my split stay.

I'm hopeful, but if not I would be satisfied with the options I have right now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one changing my mind. ;) We are booked at Pop but on the phone they talked me into getting a prefered room which is $10 more and we are thinking about a frig because DD drinks special milk and that is $10 more. So by the time we pay $20 extra for the value it isn't really that much more to go to a moderate. I'm still undecided what to do. We are going in October when the parks are closing between 6-8pm so we may be spending more time at our resort than we otherwise would. And I know the girls would love the beach. Decisions, decisions, decisions

Oh and I've already changed our ADR's 3X's. I booked everything, then decided I wanted our breakfast ones to be later incase everyone slept in, then after getting the tour guide Mike stuff I decided to change what day we spent at what park so I changed our ADR's yet again. I guess now that I finally have the ADR's set I need to start tinkering with the room :lmao:
