Gift Baskets

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with ordering a gift basket from someone other than Disneyflorist. I want the basket to include wine (a surprise for my husband for our anniversary), so I know most of the companies I've read about here do not do baskets containing wine. I found a company winecountrygiftbaskets.com that had good prices, but I'm not sure if they deliver to resorts. Disney Florist was REALLY pricey.

Does anyone have a company they use for baskets containing wine? I really could use some feedback.

Well I am not sure on anyone other than what you mentioned- but I want to say that we have always been pleasantly surprised with our winecountygiftbaskets. So I can give them a positive review. And on the florist- we used them for the beer pirate basket we got for dh- it didn't seem too over the top expensive to me.

I would love to do the peggysweets one for our Christmas vacation. I know it says she doesn't deliver on Christmas Eve, which would be our arrival day. Does anyone know if I had it delivered on the 23rd, if the hotel would hold it for until the next day?

I have used www.memoriesbysarah.com. I loved it. HOwever with new laws in Florida no company can send food or drink in baskets. SAD!!!!

Great!! I have been reading posts where people have traveled during Christmas only to find a lot of the Christmas merchandise sold out already. I think I will order earlier in December from Peggy and then just have it delivered on the 23rd!!

I was going to send my kids baskets or our trip this summer, but I felt the $25 charge and then the $10 delivery charge and then the charge for the basket was a little pricey forme. I am buying t-shirts, pins and all kinds of other stuff from the Disney store and I will DHL it to our condo. Has anyone ever thought about just doing this or can you not send stuff to the resorts?

We always use Disney Florist and don't find their prices to be unreasonable at all:

Products - they will allow you to substitute which basically allows for customization, so you can use the baskets on the website as a base, or, you can order from Disney Merchandise and have items shipped to Disney Florist.

Phone in orders - always phone order or you will pay an Internet service charge of $2.95 per order. The reps are great to talk with!

Delivery Charge - they will only charge 1 deivery fee for multiple baskets going to same place.

Food - they are licensed to sell food baskets, unlike other people mentioned above.

Satisfaction Guaranteed - if you are not happy, they will work with you until you are!

The only drawback (they are working on this) is that they need to increase their merchandise availability. We find that the other basket companies are more costly than Disney Florist, and so we stick with Disney Florist as they are great!
