A New Thought.

What if we do beat Disney and VMK stays open and is pay to play. Possible they could be mad and just take all the profit from the game and let us stay playing the game of free quility we have now. Which is ok.

Other possiblity us paying could lead to more being spent on the game with better costumer service and more development. Even new virtual parks it would be pretty amazing.

Any opinions?

Even if I could pay, I dont know if I would. At least in ToonTown where you PAY for things, they actually promise you stuff they will release. Here in VMK yavn promised us numerous things ( not yelling at him ) but he never did release them, and it really made me sad.


Besides - I wouldn't need to pay because I have my greatest friends already in contact. DIS, AIM, etc.

Yea but if they made a profit they would have to follow through on promises or they lose money. Right now Yavn can say he will be releasing anything and doesn't have too.

Disney ripped me off enough saying they were going to close VMK, I had massive headaches, and worried myself too much about what would happen. You can keep your stinkin money because I won't pay for something you scammed me out of. Or somehow it goes. lol

my parents liked vmk becuz it was free....even if it was really cheap for pay to play, they wuldn't pay for it...they wuld be like,"Im not paying for a stupid game!" they hate paying for anything so they wuld never pay for it =/ and i don't have a job yet( still pending, hopefully i will get one soon ), and if i do get a job i'll try to pay for it myself...but otherwise, im dirt poor

yeah i dont think i would pay to play its kinda useless i mean unless they promise to have the new stuff come out and i am already paying for another game my parents wouldn't pay for vmk (they have given enough money to the disney cooperation lol)

If Disney commits to VMK after all and charges for it, I suspect that will translate into the kind of full support ToonTown and Pirates enjoy. That should also improve game play from the functionality (such as sufficient servers) to the handling of the guest interaction. Yavn may not even be involved in that case but an entirely different team may be put on it.

So the great staff we have now will be replaced? I can care less about Yavn but I couldn't see playing with other staff.

I'm not sure if I'd pay or not..depends on how much it was..I think that if they have a pay to play option, they should have a free option too, but the play to pay option has more features.

Aren't they satisfied enough with the people who go to the parks for VMK, buy or watch disney movies for vmk rewards, or buy vmk item cards? I can assure you that nobody went to Disneyland after playing Club Penguin..

i'd pay no matter what...i play VMK constantly and there's no other games for me to play out there..and if it was 10 bucks a month, that's really nothing these days...it's like what 3 gallons of gas?

I don't know about Staff. However, when VMK started we had VMK_Annie and VMK_Babs. They were both great but when they moved on, we got Hula and Lily. So, while we can hope to keep our terrific hosts and staff, I"m sure any new ones will also be wonderful.
