Stroller questions... need your help!

First question... we'll have a double stroller (probably side/by/side)... we're staying at the Poly, does anyone know if we can just push it on to the monorail car? Will it fit?

Has anyone used the Baby Jogger City Mini series double stroller at Disney? If so, what do you think of it?

Any other double stroller recommendations. We already have the duo glide and I'm not a big fan of it anymore. It has proved difficult to maneuver in large crowds.

Thanks! :goodvibes

I have seen double strollers on the monorail, you just have to look for a cabin that does not have a divider in the center. I have never noticed if there is a pattern to which cars have them and which do not, but it should be easy to spot.

Yes, you can easily roll it onto the monorail. Usually, the CM will guide you to the right area where there is room. We have a Combi Twin Savvy for our 2 year old twins which is a side-by-side.

Another double jogger family and we have never had any problems on the monorail. There are indeed certain cars that will accomodate wheelchairs and also wide strollers. Although I read on here a little while ago that they were updating the monorails and soon all the cars should accomodate wide strollers -- maybe they were/are removing that middle part in each car -- anyone know or remember? In any event, you will be fine with your double side-by-side.

I know of a few people who own the BJ Mini Double and really like it! There is a girl who goes to Disney with it quite a bit.

I actually just ordered a BJ Mini Single last night. SportsAuthority.com is having a sale until the 13th where you can get 25% Off one item plus there was Free Shipping too!!! So I got mine for $149.99.

They also had the Doubles. If you want the code just let me know! :wizard:

What about a sit and stand double stroller? Is that too big? I just picked one up and haven't had a chance to play with it much to see how it folds down (I hope it does anyway...)

Thanks for the great information/advice. We decided on the Baby Jogger City Mini series. I have heard so many good things about it and even after doing research, I still can't find a bad thing about it. It isn't the cheapest stroller out there, but I think convenience and durability is key. Now all I have to do is get rid of my graco duo double that I've only used a 1/2 dozen times. :goodvibes

We were just at Disney last week, for Dinner at Ohana's and I noticed that all the cars of the monorail now allow for a double stroller. They took out that middle section so each car is very open. I don't think you will need to look for the hadicap car anymore since they changed the cars.

Oh, that is great news!!:thumbsup2
