With all this talk of VMK closing, then pay to play, and all the up-and-downs... What is most likely to happen?

I have given half of my stuff away and am wondering if i should stop?

So, what is most likely to happen?

would you give away everything you had if it meant keeping the game open?
I would...

:rotfl::rotfl:I am wondering the same stuff

@Aengus's post : I would too

Totally, I have accumulated close to 3 years of stuff. I would not mind starting over.

To be in my Happy Place, to have a piece of the Magic on a daily basis with my friends is way more important than my virtual items.

I could always get more stuff, so I have no problem giving it away.:goodvibes

My opinion, you can rarely go wrong by giving things away. :thumbsup2

I gave away a pin I thought I would never trade, without a second thought, and it's a great feeling.... giving... helping keep dreams...are you reading this powers to be:rolleyes1

I am gladly giving some of my favourite VMK items to family, friends and even to total strangers, as I believe the act embodies the magic of VMK. I don't concern myself with whether VMK will continue after May 21st or not because I would rather know that I have made someone else happy.

I've been giving away about 15 things at one time to most people I meet.

(secretly hopes VMK re-opens a few weeks after closing once they've deleted everything but the game itself) It'd be nice to have a fresh start. Although, I don't think I'd think this if I'd been here during beta or had a lot of rare items.

ETA: I take this back. I like my virtual stitch hat and other items. :)

I have given away at least 20 things a day... and that is a low estimate...

I sat in the magic shop and bought several people I didn't know different magic... What an awesome feeling!

This is something that I wouldn't have done before - because... I would have been afraid something new would come out that I wouldn't be able to afford... Now I realize I have more than enough for myself...

I have seen many many acts of kindness over the last few days. People taking turns at the Sword in the Stone for example...

Our Kingdom seems to be a kinder place...

I think closing down VMK was kind of a good idea. It's showing people you dont need items to live. Most of you are giving away things you earned hard for. I think that shows a greater value then anything else.

call me greedy but I am not giving anything away. I gave three Dream ears and that's about it. I really want VMK to stay and I believe it will. I really truly believe in my heart Disney will keep it open. So whent hat day comes I dont want to be left empty handed. I dont think giving my stuff away will change the fate of the game, if it did consider everything gone. I would give it all away but what happens when VMK stays open? I dont want to have to start from ground zero up. So I am keeping my credit and items.

I would, but it will be a big sacrifice. Yea, I'll do it.

Well for sure i would pay but VMK doesn't usually make the right decisions so I would be SO SO sad to see it go, but chances are, it is :(

Who really knows what's really going to happen.
I've been wondering about the 6 week warning they gave us. Why would they do that? Especially as we don't pay for the game. If it were a pay to play, I could understand the warning.
Disney is not known for giving warnings os closings on things they supposedly make no money on.
