i see the DCl food pick thread...how about a drink thread? Any pics or must gets?

my DH is the beer drinker...I'm the tutty fruitty girl!! How about some tropical ideas? Or the martini tasting...you see where this is going LOL

If you go to the FAQ section you will find the navigator's... They have the drink of the day listed in there.. I am sure that those are a must have.. I have also heard that the Konk Kooler on Castaway Cay is a must have too

I'm from "small town, MO" too -- actually Sweet Springs -- but now live a long way from there.

My favorite drink on board is the BBC -- Bailey's Banana and Coloda. I know I'm on the cruise when I've got one in hand sitting at the Quiet Cove pool.

I couldn't find any "real" drink pics, but I did find one of a dirty glass of something (perhaps a Shirley Temple) among some pics where it was obvious my 4 year old got ahold of the digital camera. I'll spare you the pic.

Believe it or not, I know where Sweet Springs is.. The only reason I remember the name is the first time I went to Columbia on my own I turned off 65 on to 70 towards KC instead of St Louis and had to ask for directions at a little gas station and when I went to use the phone to call a friend, that was the city name on the phone.. It's such a small world

What about non- alchoholic drinks- my DD5 thought she was big time in "the club" at the Golden Mickey's after party!! LOL

This picture (featuring my camera strap in the foreground) illustrates an apple daiquiri and a vodka martini. Both come highly recommended. A konk kooler is also a must. It was consumed long before anyone thought to take a picture of it, though.

For a few years in the early 90's, Sweet Springs had one of the old shell gas station sign with a big square illuminated sign for each letter in the word Shell. The "S" had fallen off.

Thanks for clarifying. My DH and I are Jimmy Buffet fans and we'll be on that same cruise. Thought there might be a Parrothead theme party going on.
Cheers!
