Chapter 40. Wednesday, February 6th. Day 7. Part 4. I gotta find me a new joint.

So when I last left you, we were waiting for the rest of the gang to show up for their ADR at Sci-Fi.

Around 1:30pm they come strolling up. Derek goes in to officially check in.

Something must've happened before they got there because there was some tension....Wendy comments on this? Was there drama? If there was, I'm glad I wasn't at the center of it like I usually am.


As we wait I take some obligatory shots. Wheelchair alert for Winkers.

We then left them to eat at Sci Fi. We decided to eat at ABC Commissary.

But first, I had to show how I started transporting Flat Winkers around...I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

So we head over to ABC and take a look at their menu. I had seen on allears that they had taken my favorites off the menu.... I thought I'd try the Cuban.....

As we enter I see some memorabilia from Lost--my favorite show.

There is little wait for the food...we get seated and look....

Good fortune hits again. It was pretty quiet in there.

Here's a picture of my food. A cuban with fries and chocolate mousse:

Let's just say it was less than fantastic. It was probably my least favorite meal. I used come for the tabouli wrap or Asian Noodles...I gotta find a new joint. I've heard Rosie's is pretty good and the Studio Catering looks tempting.....

After our meal we took the super secret entrance to Sci-Fi (ABC Commissary and Sci-Fi share restroom facilities) to visit the gang. Kim decides to use the restrooms. I pass as I know these restrooms usually rate a triple to quadruple flush. Kim comes right back out and says there's a line and she was also not impressed with the restrooms. We head into Sci Fi.

They had front row cars I asked how their food was. Everyone was really enjoying their food. I tasted Wendy's pasta and had another bite and another and another....I had to make up for the bad luch that I had...it was pretty good...

We then say our goodbyes. Kim and I head out.......

People knocked ABC and I had my 2 items that I was okay with...now...I'm with everyone else...I won't be back. I do like the inside seating. since we've been to ABC alot. I do like the familiarity factor....I'll miss it....

So when we last left you, we were leaving Sci-Fi.

Poor Erin has no idea what she's doing. She's obediently following Mom's directions..It does look like she's hamming it up:

We took a few PhotoPass pictures which I don't have. I think this is the day where they asked us to kiss...... Didn't happen.

I loved the update thanks again. I know I say this every time but Wendy's kids are beautiful. I love Erin's rosey cheeks. We ate at Si-fi and I didn't like it too much. Maybe it was because Grace was fussing alot and I had to walk out with her a couple of times.

I wanted to take a picture in the car in front of the restaurant too but they had a bunch of kids playing in it and they wern't about to get out. Oh well maybe next time.

Loved the updates! I really love DHS! I'm such a nerd - I like the GMR, and I like ABC Commissary. I like the Cuban - it reminds me of the sub sandwiches they served in school....and I love the black bean salad. Jim liked the noodles too - I can't remember what he had last Summer, but I don't think he was impressed - we should probably look around, too.

Nice pics! Kim looks really relaxed on her "adult touring" - must have been time for a little break

Winkie was upside down? In your POCKET? How fun was that? When I first saw that pic, I hadn't read the caption, and I thought at first glance she was near your behinder parts....I was - glad it was not like that

Did I read you are 46???? No way!!!

Up until last year, I still got carded...too much grey hair now.

That's EXACTLY what I said!! But I guess I'm wrong, and the grey hair thing....happens to the best of us Jordan , but if you were still getting carded last year at least I don't feel crazy for thinking you were about 10 years younger than you are.....I was putting you around hubby's age

I bet the photo pass photographer felt a little stupid after asking you to pucker up! You should have told them you were brother and sister! That would have really freaked them out!

Last year I got into the Flower Shop...door was unlocked...so I stood inside while DH took pictures of me in the shop

I don't know what the real deal with the doors is. I've read about other people getting into other shops before too...that's why I was trying every door on the street
