The Cost of a Private Driver Around Walt Disney World

Anyone know (I know this sounds silly, but why not ask ) if there is a service that drives a family around WDW with one full price before vacation starts.

For example for 7 days in WDW: pay a couple hundreds and the driver takes you around WDW when you call.

I doubt you'll find a private car who will be at your beck and call for a week for just a few hundred dollars. I could be wrong.

Yeah I know about the taxis but I wanted to know if there are any "private drivers" available.

I am sure you can buy almost anything. Call a limo company there and see what a dedicated chauffeured limo will run for a week or so. I would think quite a few thousand. Remember, most anything can be bought, for a price.

I have never heard of this. There are taxi's available. I would imagine that if you wanted to hire a private driver to be a your beck and call for seven days, you could, but I think it would be much more expensive than a few hundred dollars. Try contacting car and limo services in the Orlando area. You could always rent a car for seven days and drive yourself around for a few hundred dollars.

In the (likely, IMO) event that you can't find this angel of a driver who will chauffer you around for a week for a few hundred bucks and you have to rely on taxis...

Taxis are everywhere at Disney. The hotels have cab stands and so do the parks and DTD. Upon exiting the MK, you have to take the monorail to the TTC to get one, but once you do they're right there.

It's really quite neat. Every single WDW guest who stays at a WDW resort gets their own chauffeur! They're called bus drivers.

I think that OP is looking for a car service with one dedicated driver. I do use a car service and do have my own driver in certain cities. Having said that, based on the hourly cost 'a few hundred dollars' won't go that far into a vacation, I suspect.

As I said earlier, 'a few hundred dollars' will not go far in North America; in Asia it would certainly run much further for a car and driver. (Much further!)

Well cranky bavaria is actually considering offering to drive Bichon Barb and family to Salzburg for the day. But then there is the fear that Barb may think that I am stalking her, so perhaps it is better to be cranky and not thought of as a stalker!!!

I drove to Salzburg once. On the boards for that, there's all this fighting about whether or not people should pee in the ocean.

Can you believe someone would get so worked up over something so stupid? I mean, it's an ocean. There's dead bodies and stuff in there. If I want to pee while driving thru it, what's the big?

I live in Michigan so I don't know if Asia has anything to do with me.

At a base cost of $50 per hour, you are NOT (did I stress that enough) going to be able to find ANY driver to be at your beck and call for more than four or five hours, tops - never mind an entire week.

I believe that at US$50. per hour you will find plenty of drivers willing to be at your beck and call, where the time between rides when he is at your beck and call is also billable.
