CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 3/23/08-3/30/08

I thought i would check out the Lumene Body Lotion, since I've seen someone else say they were only 1.99 and generated the $2 ECB each. They only had 2 so I picked them up, but as I was walking around the corner there was an employee marking items down and wouldn't you know it she had small basket full of them. Not knowing if they would still generate the ECBs if they were clearanced I picked up 2 more. Figured even if they didnt', they were only .99 each. Well guess what! Even tho they were marked down to .99 I still got 8 ECBs for the 4 of them! Yay! Thinking about going back with DH's Card

Yes, i was just reading on HCW that a couple of people have been purchasing the Softsoap and its printing the ecb's not sure if i have the guts to try it - if it does not print the ecb's i'd be so pissed!!! i'll probably wait till Sunday!

Yes, i have the printable and a bunch of others from the newspaper i guess! I'll keep my eyes and ears open if i hear it again i'll post-it

I found a CVS $5.00 Gift Card in the mail today that I earned from Hershey's & CVS....If I only needed more chocolate...

I got my $5 GC in today's mail, too. Was just thinking earlier this week about what a pain it's going to be to have to call about this one (it said to allow 8-10 weeks and today marks exactly 11 weeks), so am thrilled that arrived without any follow-up necessary. It's already fun spending very little oop, now I'll use this gc for the oop.

I'm getting desperate. I've finished off my regular & speckled and now I'm on the spiced. The hershey & dove eggs are too much work to unwrap at this time of night!

My husband said they were nasty too. I brought home a bag of Brach's speckled (from a grocery store, I was cheating on CVS) and he asked me why I hadn't been buying them instead. DUH!

I'm getting desperate. I've finished off my regular & speckled and now I'm on the spiced. The hershey & dove eggs are too much work to unwrap at this time of night!

This year I smartened up and didn't let a single nasty spiced jelly bean into the house -- doesn't matter the brand, they're all yucko ! For the freebie sale, just got regular and speckled and the kids and I are down to the greens and yellows (the pinks and speckled pinks are the best). DH's not a jelly beaner, and he's still got a few Reese's eggs left. The Cadbury mini eggs went like gangbusters here, and I think partly because there's no unwrapping!

Only did 1 $16 trip this week, as not great offerings for us, but fortunately my ECBs don't expire for a few more weeks. I assume I'll use the $5/$15 at least once next week before it expires. Boo hoo, I'll miss that one.

hmillerbarilla - I can bring some of my speckled ones over this weekend if you need!

I haven't bothered with the Hershey's ones yet but the Dove ones are definitely worth opening!

DH loved the spiced jelly beans. He says that is how they are suppose to taste. He always puts in orders for spiced jelly beans from the Easter Bunny. When I asked which brand he said it does not matter. So he got them from CVS this year.

Well I guess I just got lucky yesterday. The employee must have been marking them down in error. Because when I went back today they were put back on the shelf and ringing up at 1.99. I still got 5 on my DH's Card and I like the little tubes they are small enough to carry around in my purse.

I'd have to run downstairs and get my reciepts, too comfy to do that, but I did so much better this week! It's only my second week and I can see that it's addiciting.

I'm hopeful that they will run out of things less often once the new store opens Sunday. The current store is small and outdated. And, I managed to pick up 3 coupons each for $2 off an $10 or more purchase that are good only at the new store. You can only use 1 at a time but still, combined with a few ECBs, if that's allowed, and I should do pretty well.

I'm already plenty stocked up on deo for myself and toothpaste.

I read on another board that you can only use 10.00 in extra care bucks then on another board it said you can use 30.00 in extra care bucks... i am getting so confused by so many rules...
is there a limit to how many bucks i can use in one transaction/How many coupons I use..I mean is there a set number like...if youu buy 6 items you can use 6 coupons. If your items are totaled at 26.00 after using 6 coupons and I use 25.00 in ecb I computer beeps???? Everyone in the store come running and pointing at me. ...they call the police????
