Hooray! I'm going to disney very soon. I'm going to Epcot and seeing my friend there. I'm also going to the temporary I think, I don't know the name sorry, but it's that where you eat and watch the fireworks. That's about all I know. But I still can't wait.
:cool1:  :cool1:

That's SO COOL!!!

It's called the Contemporary-- it's the one the monorail goes right through!!!

You're going to LOVE it!!!!!!!

Well, my last trip to WDW was 1990, so I'm probably not the one you should ask!

But it's a really cool train.

In fact, while you're there, pick a quiet time (like maybe mid afternoon.) Ask your parents if you can do a run on the monorail, or maybe when you're on your way back to the Contemporary for dinner. Ask the CM at the front of the monorail line if you can sit in the front car, with the conductor (or is it engineer?? I don't know-- the guy who runs the train!)

You may have to miss the first monorail, but my sources (here) tell me it's wonderful!! It's one of the surprises I'm planning for my kids.

How old are you? I bet we can come up with some other cool stuff!

OK, it's Thursday night, you're off school tomorrow and nothing is on TV yet.

SO the teacher in me DEMANDS that I give you an assignment:

sort through the information on this thread for something you can surprise your parents with: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1437421

You'll probably want to start a Word document and cut and paste anything you think you can use. If that doesn't make sense, get some paper and copy by hand anything that sounds like fun.

11. Have you been to goofy's candy company or is it to new? Have you seen Mayuki in Epcot? She does the candy animals. I'm gonna get there early and try and get up front so I can get a dragon.

Nope. Tell me about it; my son will be 10 by the time we go!

(Oh, and by the way, he was NOT happy when we changed our reservations from the Contemporary to the Polynesian!!! He really really wanted the resort that the monorail goes through!!!)

Can't wait, taking our youngest dd. Her first visit was when
she was 14 months old :lovestruc
So she doesn't remember anything other than looking at the pics we took.

Getting the suitcases out and ready after Easter is over!

Nope. Tell me about it;
I've had heard it's a place where you can make a tasty treat. There are tons of different things. Out of all of the candy I've seen that you can use, this is all I can remember of my thing. A mickey rice crispy covered in white chocolate, drzzled with milk chocolate, topped with sprincles and white and milk chocolate chips.

Hooray! 3 more days till my 3rd trip to disney! I've been sick:( for the past 3 days. But today I gonna have to get a shot and hopefully I'll be better for WDW.

Don't let it run your vacation... we're not going till August.

But my son would LOVE to hear about the trip from another kid his own age!!

Either one... actually I sort of meant "take over."

Oh. We'll my mother is hahmood on disboard, you've probably seen a post of her's, and she's been here more than me by like a couple months. But I couldn't start posting until a week ago. So it's amazing how many things posted in a week and how many she's posted in like months.

Which hotel are you staying at and which Disney? The one in Orlando, Califonia, etc.
