If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your economic stimulus payment deposit should be sent to your bank account by:

Paper Check
If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your check should be in the mail by:
00 – 09 May 16
10 – 18 May 23
19 – 25 May 30

Go to www.irs.gov at the very top is a rebate questions section that will take you to a calculator. Have your 2007 taxes on hand as it asks you to put in figures from different lines (at least it did for the 1040). It was really easy.

Of course you won't get it because as we all know the rich get richer. Come on - weren't you able to buy your Lexus right after the 2001 tax cuts.... My garage is stuffed to the brim with the Lexus' we got...NOT

Seriously I sympathize because we are in a similar boat. Although we will get a partial payment due to the fact we have two kids and I took about 5 weeks last year unpaid. Had I gotten paid we would get nothing. That's ok though - as long as the guy who doesn't pay any income taxes at all gets a rebate all is well in the world. I don't understand how people who don't pay income taxes get something (and yes folks even those who get taxes taken out of their checks but get a full refund are considered to not have paid any taxes).

Honestly, I was against the stimulus package, but even I will admit that it will be nice that when that credit card bill comes in it I won't have to wince as much when I transfer money from savings to the bill pay account.

If you fill in the direct deposit information on your tax return the stimulus payment will be direct deposited even if you are not due a refund. At least that is the information that is posted on the IRS web site.
