MIL is going with us on this trip. She will flip if she can smell smoke. How are the former smoking rooms at ASMO? She has the nose of a bloodhound. I haven't even mentioned it to her, but if it is there she will KNOW!! LOL

Even though all rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, there is no way to guarantee that they haven't been smoked in. From what I have read here, Disney is not doing a very good job at keeping people from smoking in them. :sad2:

You might want to find a resort map, and locate all of the smoking areas at the resorts, so that you can stear your MIL away from them. And maybe put in a request to be as far away from them as possible.

I just booked for BWi last night, I was thinking the same thing, I wonder if smoke can be detected, I smell everything. A few years ago we stayed in hard rock hotel in US and it was supposed to be a non smoking room but holy God the smell of smoke was more then I could bear. We stayed one night and went back to Disney. Maybe I shouldnt think about it so much

I just checked an old Passporter book I have and for All Star Movies it lists Building 3 & 8 as smoking buildings so these would be the buildings I would steer clear of.

As for All Star Music it I would streer clear of Building 1 & 9 and for All Star Sports Buildings 1, 3 & 9.

I'm glad I have kept some of my old WDW books as I now check what buildings used to be the smoking building and when I'm checking in, I make sure that my room is not in one of those buildings as I too can tell if a room has been smoked in.

I also have the nose of a hound when it comes to smoking.:crazy2:

Last summer we stayed in a villa at the WL that I think had once been smoking. Now the only reason I suspect this is because the little no smoking thing on the door seemed new and not like all the others I had even seen. But that is the only reason I suspect that. Inside the room I could find no reason to think anyone had ever smoked in it.

Soooo either they did an awesome job cleaning up, or the WLV have exclusive no smoking plaques for their doors that none of the toher resorts do.
