Holidays at the Resort

We will be at WDW December 7 through 13. I know that the December schedule for parks will be available in June. What I am wondering about are activities and special decorations at the resorts. Is there anything at specific resorts during the holidays? What about resort decorations that are not to be missed? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!!

We were there this past Dec 4-9th!

IMO, resort decorations not to be missed - GF gingerbread house
-and the B&YC gingerbread carousel

We went to many resorts to see the decorations and each had a beautiful tree that was themed to fit the resort. I saw listings online for special holiday resort activities - singing groups, visits from Santa, etc. but it seemed that most of those things only happen closer to Christmas Day.

We were there last November, girls only trip. We went from Resort to Resort checking out all the decorations. GF gingerbread house is awesome, The tree with the poinsettas wasn't up yet they said it goes up after Thanksgiving.
The carousel and the Beach Club, and Boardwalk were terrific. Must see's

I think all the moderate and deluxe resorts are definitely worth checking out. My favorites are AKL, WL and CSR. I also recommend the carriage rides at PO-R for a holiday activity.

Are you attening MouseFest 2008? It will be at WDW from Dec 11-15.

DD and I stayed at Pop this past Christmas week and made a point of visiting all of the Deluxe resorts to see their decorations. We also visited all of the countries in WS to see their holiday presentations.
