Which is the best view to ask for at Beach Club Villas?

Hello everyone,
We are in the process of booking our room at the beach club villas and I have only stayed there once (at 12 at the time) and I am wondering what a good to view to ask for is. I would like to have something that my kids would enjoy. Any help would be appreciated.:yay:

We had a view of the canal almost near the parking lot. It was a 2 bedroom. At night we could see fireworks from the balcony. It was great! The villas are in the back of the property farthest away from the SAB so I don't know that any unit is a "great" location.

We had a view of the woods with EPCOT (The Land) in the background. Could see many of the fireworks.

I don't think there are any view categories at BCV.

In Dec., we liked the view of the quiet pool so I told my dsil to request it for her trip in may. Well, they got that view and were on a lower floor, the problem was that with the nicer weather everyone was swimming later at night and even though it was a quiet pool it was loud. They wanted to sleep with the windows/doors open but couldn't. Just something to keep in mind for when you go.:)

We love the BCV, it is our favorate place to say.
That said, there are no "wow" views at the BCV like some other resorts. It is at the back of the property.
Most views are of woods. Overlooking the canal is nice, but there is a service road right beyond that can get busy.
We usually go with requests for a higher floor with a balcony off the Master Bedroom, no view mentioned and we have always been happy. We have had partial Epcot views, we have looked over the canal, and we have overlooked the quiet pool.
We love it all, but nothing is "special" like at other places.

You know the BCV are completely separate from the BC, correct? They are actually behind the BC closer to the parking lot. That's part of the reason for the lack of views. Usually, you can request pool/water view, woods view or garden view. The last few times we stayed there we didn't request any view.

Well, I'm glad they had to close the doors.:goodvibes There are no screens on the doors. The windows don't open of course. But anyway, if the doors are left open, what will prevent flying insects or crawling critters from entering? I can just see the posts from the guests who are in the room next...."We had a little lizard in our room. :scared1: " :rotfl:

I like rooms on the Epcot side best but have also come to love the pool view as well. I like the views as well as any we had at BC and much better than one at the BC that overlooked a roof!

Quiet pool has nothing to do with noise. Just lack of slides, lifeguards, etc.

Our last room was very noisy. It was a first floor and there was a road that passed by the room. We could hear buses all hours of the night.

The year before that we looked out at the pool and canal. I actually liked the view of the canal. We could see large turtles swimming but I agree, there are really no stellar views anywhere to be had at BCV.

We loved the room we had last summer...1st floor & a 5-second walk from DVC lobby area. The quiet pool was right out our back door & just a little to the right. We never heard noise coming from the pool last summer (this was late July/early August).

**Using the link posted above, it looks like our room was "106".
