President's day weekend

I had asked before, but can't find the thread now...Just how busy will it be Pres Day weekend?? I expect a lot of locals...but I'm starting to get worried about larger crowds than what I'm thinking of...Is it going to be more like peak season that weekend? Last time I went was in July and it wasn't TOO bad then. Can anyone give me an idea?

I don't know, we don't arrive until the Wednesday after, but it seems like a lot of the hotels are pretty stacked. I would expect pretty big crowds. Especially if the weather is beautiful.

We have been there a couple of times during the Presidents weekend and now always plan our trip to avoid it. I was told by various CM's that it is usually one of the busiest weekends of the year.

We were there for Presidents Day 06 and will be flying out on the actual day this year.
Crowds and lines were quite manageable that week until the actual holiday and then it was like floodgates opened. Lines went from 10 minutes to one hour .

Well, I suppose hour-long waits aren't too bad. That's kind of what I was expecting, especially on the bigger rides. I guess we'll just have to make the most of Friday afternoon and early Tuesday morning. Maybe I should hope for rain, which thinned crowds nicely in my past experience.

Does anyone know how crowded it will be on the Friday before the holiday? Because I am going to be there on the 15th and I am worrying about how much crowd there will be.

What about theweek after Presidents Day? We are arriving on the evening of the 17 and we plan on going to DL on the 19th. So will it be super busy during the week after?

The schools that get that mid-winter/"ski week" break will likely be off the week of President's day, so I would guess it will be busier that week.

Seeing as DLR has extended their calendar by 3 hours each day Tues-Thurs that week, I would assume they are expecting crowds.

A clue as to the level of crowds expected is that all three days of the weekend (Sat-Sun-Mon) are blocked out for SoCal AP holders. Having Monday blocked out is pretty unusual.

Well, hopefully then Friday wont be really PACKED. This will be my last trip for awhile because I having surgery on Feb. 29th. (Leap Day, AH!) on my foot and then wont be able to walk for about a month.

More like president's week a lot of schools get the whole week off not just monday.

I live in Northern CA and we get the whole week off. We will be there Tues through Fri. So I am expecting it to be packed but we just plan on it. We have to go around our kids school breaks unfortunately.
