Everything is now paid for (except tickets) woohoo! :dance3: Resort, dining plan, and well, one day's ticket, lol. Will Disney send me anything early, or do I have to wait until closer to departure day (101 days away)?

What do I do now? I'm sooo not into just sitting back and waiting! I've got ADRs made already and the gist of what we want to see and do. What else can I do?

I'm so happy this trip is becoming a reality! I've waited so long for it! :cloud9: Oh yeah, and my kids have NO CLUE about it!!

Congratulations on making your first trip a dream come true. :cheer2: Disney normally sends out documentation anywhere between 15-30 days before your arrival. We usually receive our documentation closer to 25 days before. We have never done ME but I think they send the ME tags out first from what I have read here on the DISboards. So the only thing left to do is pack.:cool1: I think it's really cool that your kids don't know yet. When and how do you plan on telling them? They will be so excited. Again Congratulations, You all will have a great time.:dance3:

Congrats on paying off your trip. It will be here before you know it.

It's so hard to wait! :goodvibes I was kinda hoping my five spring semester classes would keep my mind off the trip, but no dice. Instead, the days are dragging out. :lmao:

I'm so torn about telling the boys (they'll be 13 and 5 by the time we go). Part of me wants to tell them now, but I know they'd be more anxious than I am. Part of me wants to break the news on my oldest's birthday in April (his birthday is 5 days before his little brother's) and have a countdown calendar for the 3-week wait. But part of me wants to just go down and show up. That's possible to do; we're visiting Sea World first (it's free for us one day a year), so we could visit that and then just show up at the resort. That option would be the absolute toughest for me to do, though, since I'm so bad with secrets and waiting. As of now, they still don't know about the trip. I just don't know when to break it to them.

Tell me about it. The days are dragging.:hourglass I like the idea of just showing up at the resort. Since you are going to Sea World that would definitely make it easier to keep the secret. Maybe:rotfl: Let us know what you decide to do. Have a great day.

I don't know if I could keep that secret, I would be bursting at the seams!

pixiedust:Have a magical time!

We paid off our balance this week also ...YEE - HAW!!!. We leave in 43 days. There are 11 in our family going. It is going to be an awesome trip!!! :woohoo:

I know I can't keep a secret for anything! My DD who is 3.5 keeps seeing the Disney commercials and she will say "I wanna go to Disney" and i'm like WE ARE!!! We are going to Disney! I should not have done that because she keeps asking me are we going to Disney today? :lmao:

lol ShellyShell My boys are older than your dd, and I just know they'd be doing the same thing! ;)

I think I've decided what I'm going to do. I'm going to do that Disney phonecall thingy (it was mentioned on another thread) on my oldest's birthday and have Mickey call him and wish him a Happy Birthday and mention the "upcoming trip" (I looked, and it's an option on the website). We'll see if/how soon he "gets" it. I'm thinking it may take a while, but that's all right.

I just know I wouldn't be able to wait until we're down there. Dh laughs at me because I'm always giving him his birthday and Christmas gifts early. I definitely wouldn't be able to survive the anticipation of something this big! :lmao:

Congrats on paying off the balance - good feeling isn't it? We paid ours this week also, hotel, flights, tickets the lot! :woohoo:

Now, well, you sit back, relax, save up those spending pennies and plan! I've spent goodness knows how many hours sitting reading and researching on different things we could do whilst there - and trust me, you're in the right place! The DIS has a weath of information on everything Disney and beyond.
