Jonas Brothers tour

nope.. we saw them with Hannah.. that was enough of a budget killler lol.. plus they aren't coming near here again.

Of course, my two DDs would love to see them again. I thought that since the Jonas Brothers have family here they would try to play in the area, but they aren't playing anywhere close to us.

My DDs got to see them at the HOB in Myrtle Beach last summer. They got to meet them backstage at that show. I also took them to the concert in Charlotte in November. That's not enough for them, though.

:woohoo: :cloud9: Hi !! tickets went on sale in our town on Sat. they had a braclet lottery for seats in the first 20 rows, dd14 and her friend got first row tickets!!!!! dh took them down and sat in line for a couple of hours !! I am taking them to the concert on Feb.17........they are on:cloud9: :cloud9:

We must be neighbors -- my SIL took her daughter and they got second row tickets for that show - she was sooooo excited.

I saw them with my CM daughter at HOB this summer at Disney -- they do a nice show and I am sure in that venue they were limited to what they could do.

Wow, front and second row seats... I bet all the girls are thrilled!

We thought about going to the arena to buy tickets, but decided to take our chances with ticketmaster. I did get seats, but they're not fabulous.

But I understand there were over 4,000 folks at the arena here that morning and many of them spent hours & hours in line only to get tickets worse than ours.

Of course when DD found out the Jonas Brothers actually showed up at the box office... she about flipped!

The Best of Both Worlds Tour was more about the Jonas Brothers than about Hannah/Miley for DD.
Sheesh, if Ally and AJ would have been the opening act here, we probably could have skipped it.
Darn scheduling anyway! :rolleyes1

Here it was a lotto number with the wristbands and the bands weren't passed out until a certain time -- my SIL went just one hour before the bands were being passed out and then she and her daughter traded one with another family so they would each have a larger spread when the number was chosen at where the "line" would start.

Whoo hoo! Saw the Jonas Brothers twice with HM, got to meet them in IL at a signing at Verizon and got my front row seats again, and meet n greet for Feb! Whoo hoo!:woohoo:

:surfweb: hello!! we must be neighbors.....dd14 gave her wrist band to some other girl in line so they had a better chance....all week I kept telling dd don't think your going to get those front row seats and look what they got ! lol. it should be a good time!!

Ok, after reading these posts - how many here are from Illinois & how many of you went to the Peoria Civic Center for the wristband lotto draw??:wave2:

My husband & I were there too. We separated to try & have a better chance of getting tickets too. WOW, what a coicidence.....

We got row 5, but were the 20th # to get tickets - not too sure how they did that whole 1st in line 1st tickets thing.... but still row 5 is good.

Yes, how do you get backstage, meet & greet passes? Besides win them. I have a friend w/connections trying & so far no luck.

My daughter has been sick & going through a lot of tests: EEG's, bloodwork & alot of doctor apts., I would really like to suprise her w/those:)

I will probably see you all on Feb 17, but won't know you:)

Have fun!

We are just waiting for more dates to be released. I am positive we will be going to see them again. My older daughter would JUST DIE if we didn't go see JB! :rotfl:

Please I cannot get you passes to the meet and greet so please don't pm me and ask, I hate saying no but i truly can't.

This is the deal:

At the Jonas Brothers official Web Site, there is nothing to click on, YOU MUST BE PART OF THEIR OFFICIAL STREET TEAM TO PARTICIPATE AND TRY TO WIN THE PASSES AND TICKETS!!!!! THEY SEND OUT TASKS YOU MUST COMPLETE AND SEND BACK TO THEM VIA EMAIL, WEB SITE, YOU TUBE, AND ANY OTHER MEDIA THEY REQUIRE

It just happens that they'll send out the emails and its all with CONTESTS via the OFFICIAL street team. It never says that anywhere in regards to meet and greets on their web site, you must be patient and wait for it to come to you, then you must do and complete all tasks as to what needs to be done and they DRAW names and those said people win.....contacted via email!

I'm sorry to deliver the bad news to everyone, but that's how it works....

My kids are going to the Peoria show, but DD11's mom is taking them this time. I took them to HM and HSM, so it's somebody else's turn! Since the other family was buying the tickets, I didn't even know about the bracelet lottery until the girl's dad told me later that day, or I would have gone to Peoria and gotten the tickets myself! They knew about the bracelet lottery, but didn't want to drive 45 min. to participate! I wish they'd mentioned it the day before!

How many here are going to the Peoria concert Feb 17th? Sounds like alot of you - or atleast it seems like that....

Hope to see you all there:)

:cool1: hi were going to the civic center !!!! we just got lucky with the seats we needed 3 tickets and they just gave us front row, no asking of where you wanted to sit, dd14 was 9th in line with the bracelet. we could have a mini dis meet :surfweb: :woohoo:

Wow - 1st row! I emailed the Civic Center just to ask how that was done, because by my calculation, we should have been row 2 or maybe 3 (20 people in front of me x 4 tickets each.... there were 3 sections of 14 they tell us thats 42 across divided by 4 thats 10 1/2 & I knew that 3 people didn't show up when their number was called, so I really thought 2nd or 3rd row.) I just asked how it was done & that I heard alot of comments about being so far back etc.

She was kinda snotty w/reply that you were not guaranteed tickets if you had a wristband, we were so lucky to even get tickets - the concert sold out in 20 minutes, & on & on.

So, I emailed back & told her I was not complaining, I just thought that they should know my feelings that we should have been closer but I am very happy to get row 5, that is still really good - again I repeated that I wasn't complaining. Then I just had to throw in that I checked Ticketmaster today & there are still tickets available, so the concert still isn't sold out. ???? Don't know why she said it was.....

How many more Peoria Civic Center, DisBoards goers do we have out here for the Jonas Brothers Concert????

I won tickets yesterday from a radio station for the Las Vegas show tonight. The tickets come with meet and greet passes. My daughter is so excited!
