I know a little boy (11 months old) who was just diagnosed with Leukemia. He just started chemo last week. He'll be in the hospital for at least 6 months. He's been going through 6-7 pjs (2T) per day. Does anyone know of any stores that are having a good sale on pjs? I plan on checking out Old Navy next weekend, but I didn't know what kind of deals were out there. Thanks.

Sue

Update: I had told some people of my mom's blog because she had some info on there about Cody. We created a blog tonight for Cody so that people would be able to keep up on how he is doing. http://codyold.blogspot.com/

Disneyshopping has some of the Long Sleeved pj's on sale for under $5! (they had some little eintsteins ones yesterday)

Prayers for that little boy and his family.

I would love to buy him a couple, can i have the address where to mail them. Thanks

That is so generous of you. Thank you so much. I'll get back to you and PM you with his grandmother's address. She said the button up kind would be best because they are less constricting for him than the zipper ones. His name is Cody.
:goodvibes

Thanks for the tip on the PJs and the prayers. I'll check out the disney shopping website today!

I would love to send Cody some PJS too... please send me an address where I can have them shipped to

Family Dollar is where I buy some of my DD PJ's' I like them really well.:thumbsup2

You might check and see if you have a Carter's Outlet nearby. I buy a lot of jammies there dirt cheap.

If they don't mind gently worn jammies, you could probably post here. I have no doubt we would raid closets & storage boxes and smoother them in jammies. :goodvibes

JC Pennys has their PJS on sale now, 75% off then another 40% off. I remember seeing size 5, I am not sure if they went higher or not. Like little kid Carters ones were $3 after all the discounts.

Baby Gap also has their PJS on sale for $5-6 each with an extra 20 or 30% off.

Thank you all for your help and support. I really appreciate it and I know Cody's family does too. I will certainly check out the sales at JC Penney and the dollar store too. We do have a Carter's outlet about 30 minutes away. I'll have to check there too. Thanks guys.

Hi all! I just wanted to pipe in. I don't know if he will be in the hospital with an IV running, but if so, all of these PJ's aren't going to work. He will need an IV gown. I hope he is not, so he can enjoy the feel of some cozy jammies. My prayers are with the family.

I believe that the hospital has found a way to work around this. His grandmother, who is at the hospital as often as she can be, called and asked my mom if we could buy some pjs for him because he is going through so many of them. Thank you for your concern and for your prayers. :)

ETA: Cody had a shunt put in his collarbone so that the doctors can administer the medicine. He is only connected to the IV when he is getting medicine/treatments.

Costco usually has some of the traditional kind of pj's but also the cute cotton, very soft and cute, 2 piece sets.

Sears is having a HUGE clearance sale right now. I know I saw some really nice button up ones on clearance for around $5 for 3 pair. Might be worth a looksee!

I would love to send Cody some pajamas on behalf of my DD9. These kids have a special place in her heart. Would you PM me with his address?

Wow, everyone here is so wonderful. I'm going to go to Sears during my lunch tomorrow to see what they have on sale. We don't have a Cosco in Maine so I can't check into that. We'll be going to the hopsital this weekend and can go to the Children's Place, Carters and Target.

We would also love to contribute. My dd has been through 2 rounds of chemo so we know how hard it is on a family. Find out if they need anything else. It seems like you have plenty of offers for pjs. My prayers are with them.

Thank you. He gets cold from the chemo treatments, so like any type of zip up or button up sweatshirt or fleece would be nice. Something that's easy to put on. Also loose fitting sweatpants or knit pants. He could also use slipper type socks to keep his feet warm. Besides a blanket, I'm not sure what there could be to keep his little hands warm. Diapers and wipes are provided by the hospital, so those aren't needed. The reason why he goes through so many pjs/clothes is because the hospital gives him so much liquid during the day that it just leaks out of his diapers and soaks his clothes.

I'd love to contribute in any way. Please, if the family is ok with it, PM me with the address things can be sent to. :flower3:
