recipe: canned baby clams

saute some garlic, shallots or onions in butter. Once the onions are tender you can add the canned clams and some white wine. Cook for a couple of mins and then toss with some cooked linguine noodles! YUMMY. You can add some crushed red pepper flakes if you like it hot. You can also top with fresh parmasan cheese.

Enjoy!

I usually add a can or two of extra clams (drained) to a can of Progresso White Clam Sauce. Add a heaping tablespoon of butter to mellow it. The clam sauce is so runny that it can really use the extra clams.

My family has always loved this clam dip recipe and it's so simple!

One block of cream cheese 8 oz, softened
One can of clams, drained
Mix together until right texture (use the clam juice to get to the consistency you want), add lemon juice to taste

Dip in your chips or crackers, and yum!

Red Clam Sauce

Saute some garlic in olive oil
Remove from heat and add one can Progresso Red Clam Sauce and a can of Hunts tomato sauce, Salt and Pepper
Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Drain clams and add to sauce right before serving to keep them from getting tough.

Serve over linguine.
