Pirate hats and accessories

Does anyone remember if they sell pirate hats and accessories like swords, etc. in the shops onboard? I also saw a post a while ago that they gave everyone pirate hats for the pirate party..............anyone know if they still do and what they are like???

I am just back today. They sell TONS of pirate attire. T Shirts, hats, pins, eye patches, swords, watches, anything you can think of really..

They are very nice quality IMHO..

You can also get some great pirate stuff from the Pirate Museum shop in Nassau (just a short walk from the ship) if you are on a short 3 or 4 day cruise.

We ordered some cool stuff off a website called "Deadmentellnotales" before we went, and had it delivered to the ship as a surprise for our kids. They do some cute mermaid stuff for girls too.

Yes, we had it delivered to the ship and there was a lovely big parcel waiting in our cabin when we boarded - it was a surprise for the kids, who went mad with excitement when they saw it !
You can get the delivery address if you do a search on this forum - it might even be in the frequently asked questions section.

I ordered it about 10 - 14 days out, as we were travelling to Orlando in advance of the cruise from the UK. I was aiming to get it delivered in the week before the cruise - I'm not sure how long the would hold it for you but I figured the longer it was in store at DCL , the more chance of it going missing (probably quite wrongly) so I did not want it arriving too soon before departure....but I also had to take into consideration the delivery lead time (which are often over stated for mail order companies to allow themselves a little slack).
