how many people can sit at a table for dinner?

I am traveling w/ a party of 12 (6 adults, 3 kids, 3 babies) on the 4 day cruise next summer and am unsure how large the tables are. I know they have tables or 4 and 8, but what about 12? Or do we have to break up into a few tables? Any feedback would be appreciated.pirate:

The definitely have table that will accommodate 12. We were given one on our last sailing when we had a party that size.

If they have several large groups that take up all of the larger tables they can put smaller tables together to make one that will seat you all. A large group near us was seated at two tables. Once the servers realized they were all together they put the tables together so the entire party could eat as a group. After that first night the tables were together every night when we got to the dining room.

They have all sizes available. From 2 seaters on up. It was just us and another family at our table. But that was 8. I don't think you'll have any problems being all seated together as one unit.

Yeah, as long as Disney knows that your all traveling together as one group, they should have no problem sitting you all at one table. We just got back from a 7-day with 12 people and we all sat at one table.

Actually the smallest table is for 4, not 2. Parties of 2 will be seated with others in the main dining rooms. Palo, on the other hand, does offer tables for 2.

We have done 2 cruises with parties of 11 it was not a problem at all. The phone CM's acted as if we probably wouldn't be able to sit together, and in reality it was not a big deal. Just link the reservations and note the request.

We cruised last year with 15 all at 'one' table. Actually it was several tables lined together! We had blast. Back in 2000 we had 20 people.

We just got back from the Oct 6-13 Western Caribbean. There were 16 of us. We were told that the largest table can typically accommodate 14 but since half of our group was kids, they were able to squeeze in two more. In Animator's Palate, because of the large chairs with armrests, we had to settle for 12 at the large table and a nearby table for 4 pre-teens in our group. At Palo, they were able to get the 8 adults all together at one table for brunch. This was a special request which they were happy to do for us.
