Palo Reservations Online, HELP!

OK, this is strange.

I have three reservations linked together. One is mine, one is my FIL and one is my SIL. We have been trying to get Palo for one night of cruise next week and to no avail. We planned on trying to get on the boat early and running to some meeting I was told they have where you might be able to get a ressie for it.

I went online last night and they all of a sudden have availability for Sunday night at 8PM, so I booked it for me and my wife (they only had availability for parties of 1-2). Then I changed to my FIL's ressie to book it for him because it still shows availibility at the same time for parties of 1-2. However, it is blanked out like it is not available for him. Why would that be?

Is it possible that it has to do with me having Castaway Club and him not? It will not show availability for my SIL either. Strange!!!

Help!

Not sure why it is not showing up for them. However..... I would hang onto the ressie you have and see about having them added once you're on board.

Depending on how the DCL web site is set up, you may have to clear cookies in your internet browser before you can change to a different ressie. I ran into that when my parents cruised with us last year. If I accessed our ressie and then tried to switch to theirs, quite a few things didn't work correctly.

Yes. I believe that is your problem. Your FIL cannot make any reservation until 75 days out where you can make them at 90 days out. If you can't make one online for them, don't worry, you will most likely be able to add them to your current reservation once onboard....the venue is usually in Rockin Bar Day on the Magic or Wavebands on the Wonder and there is someone handling dining changes/ressies once you board until about 3:00 or so....

Well the cruise leaves next Saturday, so I know the days thing doesn't apply but I thought maybe they were only opening this availability to Castaway Club members.

I am going to try clearing the cookies and cache and see if that helps.

Otherwise I'll just get there in time to hit the reservation meeting.

No, that can't be his problem because he stated that his cruise is next week so everyone is within their booking windows.

Besides, the OP said the reservations were linked. That "should" mean that he can make reservations that include all 3 staterooms. As REaS package holders, we were able to make Palo reservations at 105 days out. Because our reservations are linked, the page on DCL specifically gave us the option of including our son who will be sailing for the first time and wouldn't be able to make reservations himself till much later.

So maybe cookies are the problem. (Who'd have ever thought that cookies of any kind could be bad???) In any case, from what I've read, they do hold back a large number of Palo reservations for folks to book when they board the ship.

:wizard: Hope you're able to get this taken care of easily!

It sounds like someone had a party of 2 that was booked online and they cancelled - you booked the one open reservation, and now there are no open reservations.

I suspect you will be able to remedy it onboard.

I had the same problem. I am linked with 2 other couples. The availability showed up for me and one of the couples but not the other. We are all Castaway Club members and I was booking in the right time frame. I booked different times for each of us, but we're hoping to get something together once we're on the boat.

That very well could be case but it's still showing available when I go in there even after booking it......maybe it's a glitch, who knows.

I'll just make sure to get to the meeting and get us all ressies together.
