Mousekeeping Envelope--I made it today!

I made this envelope for Mousekeeping! Can't wait to print 'em out!! I haven't decided yet if I am going to make them all Minnie, or if I'll put a new character on the envelope for each day. Obviously, we are staying at one of the All Star Resorts!

that is too too cute! i have 4 of mine decorated { i work in a pre-k class so lots of art supplies!} i have one w/ esmarelda ,one w/ pooh & friends ,one with princess minnie { just cut out circles in construction paper and added a princess hat and drew on flowers/ribbons } one with mickey head as a pirate { the head is made from wrapping paper with old world treasure maps/ships on it} and dgd & dgs will each decorate one for a day.i can't wait to see what they coem up with! hope to see more of everyone's cute idea's. princess hugs & arrrgghhsss...

These are envelopes for leaving a daily tip for housekeeping (aka Mousekeeping). Often times Mousekeeping won't take the tip you leave, because they are not sure if the cash is meant for them or not. By putting it in a special envelope, you know they'll get their just reward!!

TinkAsh2001 i will leave lots of pixie dust for you ! i read on another thread that someone puts glitter in their daughters towels so she knows tink has been there! love it! my dd said that dgd would be covered in glitter and i said well! she will feel special and all 'sparkledy' as she says! i think dgs would even enjoy the pixie dust...he is working on drawing mickey mouse to put on his mousekeeping envelope.he said " hey nanna,i can draw a 'o' so i can make a mickey mouses head like you!" i can't wait to see what he comes up with....love this thread and can't wait to see more pix...gotta take pix and learn to post....princess hugs & pirate arrgghhhssss ...

We did something similar with business cards.

I wonder if it matters what you do, because quite honestly, nothing was done that stood out for us. The room was clean when we returned to our room and that was about it.

On our last trip I set up the kids stuffed animals in different scenes, the first being Yeti taking a pic with one of the kids cameras of the other characters and when we came back mousekeeping had set them up differently. We did this all week and had a blast. I took pics of them every day.

One of our trips, we had mousekeeping set up my DS's stuffed animals in different places every day. One day they were reading, another watching TV, another taking a nap. On our most recent trip, mousekeeping took washcloths and the towels and made animals and such but also used embellishments! Pipe cleaners, googly eyes and pompoms. So cute!

Actually, on my business trip to Las Vegas last month, as I was checking out I thought - hey I forgot my mousekeeping envelope!

We usually leave a dollar for each person staying in the room per day, So $6.00 per day. DH travels extensively and he said this is the norm.
