We are back :( Holiday was great :) - added a few photos!

We got back at about midnight on Friday night / Saturday morning - would have been earlier but 10 mins before the train was due to leave DLRP we all had get off, bags and all, because of a 'security risk'. Turns out there was a case left in First Class by someone who put it there and left. Oh well, these things happen, I'd rather they play it safe in this day and age - though try telling that to the one woman who was moaning to the police and Eurostar staff!

I'll write a full trippie when I have more time, but a few things to highlight for now...

- Must have been some kind of Spanish holiday as the park was 70% Spanish guests.

- Parks were very quiet for all 5 days - we walked on to most rides at any time of day.

- I Got a new high score (for me) on Buzz - 664,000

- Good that the HSM show didn't insult anyone's intelligence by trying to say the characters were those from the films but were all new characters.

- I enjoyed Candleabration more than the new parade! No doubt it's even better in the dark.

- Weather was pretty good - though fog was very dense in the mornings - couldn't even see the castle from the entrance to Discoveryland on Friday!

- Toon Town seems very cramped.

- New Hotel Cheyenne map you get given at check-in is much better.

- Entering the park via Salon Mickey never gets old

- Only bought 6 pins.

- Alice's Curious Labyrinth seems to have gotten easier!

- I finally got a photo with Stitch, and Sleeping Beauty and Ariel

There's much more to say but that can wait till the trippie - I'll upload the photos as soon as have time. All in all it was a fantastic trip, and Marcus, I finally know what you mean about hotels now - I'll explain later!

welcome back Steve, we were there the exact same days as you and had a great time, and totally agree with you about the spanish holiday makers.

I couldn't help laughing on our first morning when we walked through the gates for our first glimpse of the castle of the holiday only to find we couldn't even see it....lol

Lucy - the paving slab is in front of the Mickey face flower display which is in front of the turnstiles of the main park. I think they stopped selling them a while back but I read somewhere that after 10 years they would replace them. If that is true then some are due to be replaced already and ours has 6 years to go
