I am saving for an AP and want to know more about it. Can anyone tell me the cost?

TIA

Basically, the DDE card saves you 0% on most table service meals in WDW. YOu can use it at resorts/parks that do not have table service when you eat at a counter service spot. POP qualifies as well as AK, but AK will most likely change when Yak and Yeti opens as a table service spot.
You can order the DDE card by calling 407-566-5858. It is good for 12 months from order time. If you were to order it today, your membership would be good until Sept 30,'08 If you order it at the end of Sept (from the 15th on) it would end on Oct 31, '08. I like to wait until about two months before I need it to order it...that way I get the most value from it.
It is available to Fl residents and holders of AP only at this time. I believe the cost for AP members is $65, a Fl Resident is $85.

Oh Thank you!

ETA: I think you meant 20% right?

Another question..if I get my AP when I am there, can I get the DDE there at WDW?

How many people can you use it for?

I'm pretty sure you actually have to order it over the phone or through the mail. If it doesn't arrive in time for your trip then you can pick up a temporary card at Epcot's Guest services.

It is good for up to 10 people in a party. And don't forget some of the other perks, like free valet parking at the resorts (don't forget to tip of course:thumbsup2 ), after 5:00 free parking at the theme parks or parking reimbursement prior to that time and half price for you and a guest admission to PI. Also keep in mind that they will not accept it on major holidays (we ran into this on Mother's Day, even though some posters reported being able to use it, I tried to and was told they couldn't accept it that day:idea: ), but otherwise it's a great value and IMHO easier to keep track of than the DDP.

Don't you mean 20%?? I love my DDE card. Totally worth the money.

As an AP we have had our DDE card for 2 years now and we absolutely love it. We are able to use it at some of most favorite resturants and it has saved us lots, especially on birthday and anniversary celebrations when we have alot of people.

o for those of you who have it...can I buy it on my first day of my trip , after I buy my AP and get a temp at WDW?

DUH!!! Yes, it's 20%.
If you have a voucher, you can get the DDE card before you get to WDW I believe. But, if you wait until you get to WDW to get the AP, then you will have to call DDE and order it right away. It can take until the end of the business day before you can pick up the temp. card, or letter. And remember, the DDE office is only open 9-5, Mon-Fri...so if you arrive on a Sat you're out of luck until Mon afternoon.

From what we found out recently all that is correct since the day of our arrival which is on a Sunday we plan to go to SOG and get our AP vouchers because of the discount for military and then drive to EPCOT and get our "REAL" APs and first thing Mon. AM call DDE and order our DDE and hopefully pick it up later that day at EPCOT GS or the next day. FWIW we will be at WDW from 12/16/2005 to 1/25/2006 which is in excess of the standard 30 day temp card period. The lady at the DDE number said just call us and give us your ressie numbers showing when you will be there in excess of the normal 30 day temp card time frame and will will issue a temp card good for when you are here. :woohoo:

The 20% discount also is good for the "ADULT BEVERAGES" including wine which none of the other dining discounts cover to my knowledge :thumbsup2
