Ok would you do 1900 park fare or the Castle or Akershus? Our little one is going to be almost two so it really doesn't matter much to her. Mommy and daddy just want to experience it with her, have a nice meal and get some good pictures. We really think she would have fun at any of them.

We did the Princess breakfast with a 3 and 10 year old niece and they loved it. The food was pretty good but the character interaction was priceless. When the 3 year old saw Ariel she was in 7th heaven!

We have done Park Fare, CRT and Akershus. I voted for Akershus, even my DH likes that one. We have it in our plans for March '08.

CRT is really expensive now, although at under 2 you won't have to pay for your DD. It's just that at such a young age, she won't truly appreciate being in the castle anyway, which I think is a part of the higher expense, so you may as well save some money and have a great time at Akershus - the food's good and there are lots of pricesses!

I'm glad people are saying Akershus. We were hoping this was a good one. My DH was excited when he saw the menu.

By the way Phyllis.. that picture could be a post card!!! I love it.

:)

I choose the Castle because of the atmosphere and the whole thing eating in the castle. My daughter loved it but we won't do it again. Did that, not doing again....

Akershus all the way. We have tried breakfast and lunch there and both meals were good. The dessert sampler they have for lunch is very yummy. Lots of princesses too.

We have done them all and we love, love, love Askerhaus. The princesses were wonderful. Food was good. Value was good. In fact, that is the only one we repeat when we go back. The other two have been a "been there, done that," Askerhause is a can't miss for us.

I voted for CRT. I've never done Akershus, so I can't speak to that one (although I've heard very good things about it), but I have been to 1900 Park Fare and we definitely didn't like it nearly as much as CRT. With it being a buffet, there were people milling around everywhere, the characters seemed much less attentive and it was LOUD! Just the people made it loud, and then the organ thing would start up and it would become almost unbearable. CRT, on the other hand, is much quieter, calm, pleasant - much more appealing to us.

Have fun!

Leslie

I have never heard of Akershus - where is it? what kid of food is it?

I have been to 1900 Park Fare, and my 4 year old princess: LOVED it...
Looking for a different "princess" meal...based on your comments, I think Akershus is the place to go..

We're doign Akershus with my DS and 2 DNieces this January when we go. None of us have been to any of them, but my parents have with my (other)niece. They've done all three and really were happy when I told them we were doing Akershus. We're going there mainly because DNiece (6) loves Belle best, and this way we have a shot at seeing her, wich we wouldn't at 1900, and I wasn't going to deal with the mess to get a spot at CRT. (Yep. I'm slack. :))

While the princesses were wonderful at Akershus, the food was terrible! The kids had a great time but didn't eat anything and my husband and I just ate a little and we are not very picky eaters. I'd go with one of the other options and see the princesses at other locations. 1900 Park Fare is wonderful.

I think that CRT is way overpriced!! AKerhus has the most princesses for your $$

I have not been to one yet but I had to vote for CRT only because really you can't beat the atmosphere. Hopefully it will live up to my expectations when we go on the 20th. :)

we are doing both CRT and 1900 park fare for our christmas trip, but I am getting confused. I thought breakfast at park fare was with Mary Poppins. I have a friend making Alice dresses for my girls thinking about how cute that would be. anyone know?

the breakfast is Mary Poppins. The dinner is Cinderella

We went to Norway at Epocot for the princess dinner. It was only one credit on our dining plan and the princesses were great. The menu has food we weren't familiar with, but the appitizer buffet made it worthwhile.

We have done all three meals. And since I could only vote once, I chose Akershus. But we enjoyed 1900 Park Fare just as much.

CRT was okay, but we didn't feel the character interaction was as good as at the PSB at Akershus, which was out of this world. We were at CRT for breakfast and we didn't care for the regular meal very much - too heavy. DH enjoyed the healthy meal, though.

1900 is different alltogether, but the characters spent just as much time with us as they did at the PSB; you get different characters. The food was just as good at 1900 as at the PSB. So, to me, either one is a good choice.
