Only 4 more days to our first family adventure @ Coronado Springs!
We have the pleasure of experiencing the Pepper Market on the free dining plan...Anyone have any great recommendations??? What is yummy and what should we avoid?

in my opinion, the best deal for dinner is the ribeye with baked potato and veggies. it is a HUGE portion, and a good cut of meat. it is $20 or so dollars, and you can get it on the ddp, plus a dessert. for breakfast, try the southwest omelet. 2 people could easily share, and it is delicious! i detest the maya grill. we ate there once and the food and help was disgusting, so we vowed never to eat there again.

4 adults ate dinner there last xmas week on DDP. DH had the combo dinner at the chinese counter and it was huge and very good. I had the special burrito dinner for that night - soft chicken or beef and side of rice/guacamole, chips. Again very good and large. My sister had huge taco salad with chicken in tortilla shell. The only disappointment is you really have very little choice for dessert-it really is a choice of breakfast stuff-scone, muffin, etc. We each got one and brought it back for a snack/breakfast the next day. My sister also convinced someone to let her have fresh fruit for dessert-don't know how she arranged that! We would defintily return and I agree that the ribeye looked good.

Here is what we had:
-Chicken Quesadilla: Huge, fresh & yummy!!
-Wet Burrito: Again, huge, fresh & yummy!!
Sampler from the Wok Kitchen: Bourbon chicken, stir fry beef with noodles & an eggroll. The chicken was ok but the beef was tough & dry. The only disappointing meal we had at the PM.
-Prime Rib: You are shown the piece for your “ok” which was cool. Absolutely delicious and the horseradish drizzle was soo good! It was served with the sweetest grilled veggies and a huge baked potato with various toppings-all as a CS on The DP!
-Ribeye Steak: A bit thin yet grilled just as asked as quite good!
-Smoked Turkey Club Wrap: We got two of these “to go” for dinner at the airport. Huge with a ton of flavor. Came with cole slaw & chips.

Desserts were limited on The Dining Plan: Assorted pastries, cookies and ice cream sundaes. One night we got plain vanilla ice cream in large cups to which we added rootbeer to make floats “to go!”

Yup! PM is a CS credit-and everything on the menu is available on the DDP. The lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu, too, with the ribeyes and the primerib (when the prime rib is the "grill special" for the day-which is was 3 days out of our 7 day trip.) :thumbsup2

This is fantastic! I hope that PM will be added for DDP 2008.
Do you know what day prime rib is the special and is ribeye available every day?
Thanks:)

As far as I know, the ribeye is available everyday. Not sure if they have particular days for the prime rib, yet as I said it was available 3 (or was it 4?!) days out of the 7 days we were there. Enjoy! :thumbsup2

1) At the moment, it is not on the 2008 DDP list.
2) but, that does not mean it won't be on the list by January.
3) Many DTD and Epcot eateries have yet to be on the 2008 list.
4) One would assume they are still in contract negotiations.

We liked Pepper Market so much we ate here 2 times and we were not staying at CSR, but we had a car. We tried the prime rib with fries and veggies. It was a huge piece of meat. Husband and I shared it and we did not leave hungry. DD had the chicken quesadilla. She liked it as did son who ordereed calzone(it took 15 minutes to cook his food). The next visit I got the calzone, DD had pizza, son had chicken quesadilla(he was not waiting long for his food again) and husband had prime rib sandwich. Again we were all happy with our selectio. Both times we chose danish for dessert to go and had them for breakfast the next day. We would recommend PM.:thumbsup2
