Does one have to pay for /charge excursions booked through Disney when signing up on line? What is their cancellation policy? Although I would love to plan and book on my own to save money, I am afraid I will not be able to get Flounder time and my older kid will not like the kids club, so very afraid to risk it. Dh and I thought we may just board the ship and wing it, but that is risky too....we may not get what we want.

You can book online in advance, if first time cruisers at 75 days, and its a reservation, and you are not, charged at that time, they debit your stateroom account on the day of the trip, you must cancel in advance to avoid payment not sure the exact timescale but I think its 2 days.

I would suggest you book excusions, in advance to give you more options, they hold back some but you do not wish to run around the ship on arrival.

Any trip with Dolphins seem to go quickly.
