Literally! We got home today after a couple of days away only to find that UPS or FEDEX, I can't tell from the wrapper delivered our cruise docs and left them (we guess) by the front door. All we could find was our cruise docs scattered and torn and bitten all over the yard. They were also soaked rom the sprinklers. They were completeley destroyed!:scared1:

Our cruise starts on 9/15 but we leave for Orlando on 9/11. Can these be replaced? What do we need to do?

I will call Dreams Unlimited tomorrow to ask, but any help would appreciated.

Gabe

that you might have to claim your luggage and put tags on it at the airport. If you have DCL transportation, they will still get your luggage, you'll just have to "intervene" a little more. There are Disney reps in the terminal to help if needed. If you're not flying, then no worries, they have extra luggage tags at the terminal. Print your docs out online and enjoy your trip.

Gabe, I know this isn't funny honest but in a way I had to laugh for it reminded me of times when the kids were small and we would get the neighbor to take care of our pets and they would be so upset at not being allowed to go that each time we got home, something was eaten up, torn up etc - I didn't think it was funny then but the kids did and understand I how what you feel - now at my age those years are over but had to chuckle cause during those times there no computers except phones that were tied to the walls and no place to pace.
You will be fine sweetie and know you will have a great time. Many years from now you will look back, read something like you wrote and have a quick smile and remember back when.
Always

You can complete them at the port also..not a problem at all. No need to worry.

many people love that dcl does not require you to be home when your cruise documents come which you do not have to sign for it. maybe dcl should have people state if they will like to sign for their cruise documents or not

I actually did think it was a little funny, after I got over being upset at the dogs. But it wasn't their fault anyways. We are just happy we leave in 5 days!

You can fill out your documents online and/or at the port ... you can also get bag tags at MCO if you are taking DCL transfers or at the port if arriving another way.

Too funny....we had the same thing happen several years ago. DD was in a total panic thinking that it would mean that we couldn't go.

DCL will be great at replacing the documents. In our case it was before the new on-line system. We had to pay $25 for replacement documents--actually, I insisted that it should be the TA's expense since THEY chose the delivery method and the delivery man didn't even put the package between the 2 doors. He just left it sitting on the porch when he had at least 2 safer options. The TA got their money refunded by the delivery company--again since they didn't use either the newspaper box or place the small package between the doors.

We were able to pick up documents at the port. If you are flying, you will need to claim your bags at MCO and deliver them to the DCL counter (since they don't have DCL tags on them. If you are going to WDW first, you can get new DCL tags from the cruise desk at many of the resorts. If you are driving, the porters will have tags when you drop off your luggage. All other documents are available both on line and in the terminal.

Thank you very much! This info really helps. We will be staying at WDW first then driving to the port, so I'll just stop by one of the DCL desks to get the tags.

Gabe:thumbsup2

The porters that take the checked luggage have plenty of luggage tags on hand. You just have to tell them your stateroom number and last name.

For the docs, you can do everything online except the bahama immigration form. That form you'll have to get at the port. It's a quick and easy form to fill out.

Our docs never arrived for our last cruise since we moved 3 weeks before our sail date. The docs had already been shipped and UPS doesn't forward so we were out of luck. The best part was with all the confusion of moving I totally forgot to fill everything out online. But we had no problems getting all our docs at the info desk at the top of the esculator when we arrived at hte port and just filled them out while waiting in line.

Your dog only did that because he is mad because he can't go!! LOL
