Mypoints contests

Has anyone here ever won anything from any of the many contests and games Mypoints runs. I know they have a large base, but certainly we would come across SOMEONE who has won SOMETHING!!!

I almost think the games and contests are a scam to get people into the site....but I will still use the site when something isn't available through SR, as I have gotten and used several giftcards from them. It is definately still worth going there, but still...

Any other opinions?

I won 750 poiints the first day i played the game. I was sent a email saying that only after they have verfied my eligibilty and a 8-10 week wait after the program end on Sept.18 will they credit my points. Free points are a good thing. I just thought that was a long wait for points. But i guess its 750 more than i had before.

I just won 500 points on my third try playing the locker game. I never win anything on MyPoints. This is a first. That's 100 less e-mails I have to read!

I won 50,000 points a few months back, don't even remember what the contest was, but I sure remember winning the points!

I've been waiting to redeem them for our Disney trip in October and just cashed some of them in today.

So yes, people really do win on these contests.

We're not using them all for Disney, but I cashed in for a couple of Rainforest Cafe gc's, a couple Wal Mart gc's and a few for Kohl's.

I just can't quite stand to see that number go back down to zero, so I'm saving some back.

Last year I won one of their contests. I believe it was last year's back to school promo where there was a different prize every day. I got a $100 Omaha Steaks GC. No luck on any contest since then, though.
