error when I try to burn DCL's Magic/Wonder horn wav to a CD - suggestions?

I am sorry if this is not the correct place to post this - I'd be grateful if you would move or suggest another place to post.

I am wanting to create a music cd for our WDW/DCL trip in October. I really-really-really want to include the Magic/Wonder horn on a burnt CD. Each time I attempt to burn (through I-Tunes, Real Player and Nero), I get an error that the selection is too short to be added. This track is about 7 seconds...it appears nothing under 10 seconds will 'burn' to a CD. Does anyone have a suggestion or resource to direct me to?

Well, this appears to be partially a matter of what CD burning program you are using.

About the only suggestion I could come up with for you if it won't let you burn the track individually is to use a sound editing program to "add" the horn to the front of another track... but unless you have that type of software (unlikely) that's a really pricey option.

Some things to keep in mind are that a) likely, the "horn" recording you have is going to be a .wav file - which is a type of sound file, but not one that will play on a normal CD player. b) most song files you are burning to CD are probably .mp3 files, which play on most CD players or computers.

Why don't you go ahead and PM me, since this is kind of an off-topic thread (it's more technical than DCL) and I'll see if I can help you out... although it's not a likelihood, there's a possibility...

i burned it for a friend using roxio and had no problems

most programs you need a 10 sec minimum to burn it to a cd. The horn track is 9 sec. I don't know how to fix that thou
