I will be visiting in Feb. 08, booked with Dining(first timer). And I didn't understand the snack part. So I asked the CM on the phone when making ressies and she told me..use all my snack credits in resort I am staying in(POP) because you get more variety for your $.
She also said that snack credits are used for anything under $4 some examples she gave me...side salads, fruit salads, muffins...

You can also use them for ice-cream, soda, water, fruit or in your hotel gift shop for a box of Entennman's donuts....or any "candy" under $5.00. We brought back a bunch of "souvenir" candy to NJ when we went last year.

Is it under 5$ now or under $4. Last year it was $4 but maybe it has increase for this year and 2008?:confused3

There is a link at the top of the page to all confirmed snacks that have been purchased using the DDP Snack Credit.

There is a thread w/ a current listing of all snacks...I would print it out and take it with you to WDW...that's what we are doing...I will put all important info like that in a sheet protector so it does not get beaten to death by day 6 of the trip! ha ha!

I don't know that "use it all at your food court" is the greatest advice, at least not for us. We probably won't be at our food court when we'll be ready to use them.
Our plan is to use them early in the a.m. on nights when our ADR is quite late, followed by early CS lunch (we have a 710 and an 840p) and for something with lots of caffeine on the other days. Hopefully.

I don't think "Use them all at the food court" is good advice at all. There are so many yummy snacks in the parks... Main Street Bakery has a ton of pastries that are available as snacks. Ice cream from the stands around the parks. Floats and iced coffees and smoothies in all sorts of places. Dole Whips. Candy from Goofy's or Main Street Confectionary.

Look at the "confirmed snacks" sticky to get an idea of what is available. We found we use very few snacks in our resort; most get used for drinks or treats in the parks.
