Sorry I am running out otherwise I'd be more detailed.

basically its as time consuming as you want it to be. I spend 30 mins a day on there and I'm up to $330 since last July (this included time off due to not thinking ahead for next trip). There was a thread on their forum sunshinerewardsforum.com that was similar if you want to go check out the threads there.

current rewards include: walmart, amazon, blockbuster, chili's, landry restaurants, darden group restaurants, gas gift cards, gap, footlocker, gift certicificates.com, target, sephora, other restaurants. There's a bunch but I just can't list them all right now.

I have made about $450.00 at SR since last September. So not quite a year. I do as much as I want. Some days I spend a lot some days I do nothing. I also go through spells where I really hit them hard and then spells like I am having now where I do like an offer a day. Also the first say 2 months were slow. I was so new to the reward world that it took me awhile to figure everything out.

I usually cash out for paypal or Disney Dollars. Here is a very lengthy list. If you are a super member you can get better rates and a few more offers.

I really don't invest more than a 1/2 hour to an hour on actual offers. (Lots more time on the forum ) I do the scratchoff, check for paid clicks, try and get my daily survey done then maybe do one or two of the free offers. I have $105 earned from doing that since July 1st.
When my kids go back to school I will be investing more time.

In actual earning time I spend less than 20 minutes (the forum is a different story ) I check for paid clicks a few times a day, do the scratch off, do a survey and check for new offers. The daily survey and some of the free surveys are the only things that I find take more than a minute to do. I have made over $1,200 since last year at SR! Some of that is shopping and some of it was winnings from contests but most was from the free stuff and paid to try offers!

Usually the things that are .25 to $1 are considered freebies and they are truely free. Check out YTBepsi or like WSHTS: Apple iPhone type things. Those will all be 100% free.

One more question: If I do an offer on SR will it automatically know I did it and not show it to me again or will I need to keep a list of the ones I do?

Once you try an offer, click the move to pending. It will disappear from that list when you get credit or the offer is pulled.
If you go through the offer list and click on an offer again, it will let you know if you received credit for it or not.

I clicked "no thanks" on them, but I think I got over 20 pages worth to click through. Is that normal? Then nothing showed up the next day in my account. How long does it take to credit?

Also, HOW do you get the daily surveys? I've spent over an hour trying to get one and I NEVER qualify.

Yes. That is typically what a free offer looks like. After you have done them for a while, you will begin to recognize how far you have to go to get credit. Some of them(usually the My Insider Deals, What She Has to Say and Generous Genie offers)require that you click on their confirmation e-mail before you get credit.

How long does it take to credit? Well that depends on the offer. Some are set up to automatically credit(check the fast crediting category for those), some credit on the hour and some are manual credits. That means Tricia has to pull them from the advertiser's site and manually credit them. They may take a few days to credit.

For the surveys, is there anyone else in your household that can take the surveys? I have a much harder time qualifying for the surveys than my husband does. Also, try changing your e-mail address. Sometimes I find that helps.

There is some great information for newbies over on the SR forum. I would check the daily surveys thread and the automatic credits thread.

Some of the offers credit almost immediatley, some within the hour and some never credit. If there is a problem with crediting Tricia will pull the offer of have a statement on there like this is crediting about 50% of the time. Mostly you have to have an email that is unique to their (the offers) database. I always use a yahoo or gmail email address. It is a pain to go through probably 15- 20 pages of clicking yes (or most often NO) to thier offers, but they do give you .40 or .50 of sometime up to a dollar for doing that push up. It doesn't really take all that long it is just a little monotonous. I have earned almost $400 since January and at least 1/2 of that is from the free offers. For surveys, you need to clear cache and keep trying. Even when it says there are no surveys for you I click back in and eventually get one. Sometimes they are long and drawn out and some are surprisingly short.
I sometimes let my husband take them as they tend to want answers from Men more than women. Only do a few of the .40 or .50 offers a day to insure getting the majority of them to credit. Play the scratch off and watch for the contests. It doesn't ake more than maybe 25- 30 minutes a day and the earnings are great. HTH

Or do you have to do the offers? This whole thing is confusing, or I'm just making it harder by over thinking it. I'm guessing you might get higher earnings by doing the shopping and getting the percentages back.

I guess I need to spend some time reading more stuff over there so I can make the most of it.


What other rewards sites do you all like? Of course I joined cashduck just a few weeks before it closed...so I'm a bit leary of doing some without really checking it out now.

You are over thinking it

Once you hit the silver, gold, etc you can close out. Sometimes you can stop after the inital page or two but I usually just go till i hit that part and then close out.

You can earn a lot with the free offers and then of course I have gotten into the shoebuy.com shopping habit about once a month. That tends to help me with my balance but otherwise freebie offers and the daily surveys (80 cents each) will help you earn a bunch.

My preferred site is SR and then I'll do QR for some offers SR doesn't have and some shopping SR doesn't have. If you do too many you run into the risk of doing offers twice (big no-no) because it gets tedious to try and keep track of what you do on which site.

Thats why I said usually. I always click the confirmation e-mail, so I wouldn't know that you might not need it. Besides, I have read other people say that they didn't get the credit until they clicked on the conf e-mail. I figure, better safe than sorry. It doesn't hurt anything so I'll continue to confirm.
