We didn't buy anything OOP except cash on last trip. Can you charge OOP items on your room charge, or do they automatically take it out of your DDP credits?

Just want to see if I need to bring cash or a credit card for these items.

You can charge it to your room.

You can charge it to room, BUT you must register a credit card at the front desk of your resort when you check in. It actually charges to your credit card, but makes it much more convenient as there's one less thing to carry around, and safer because if you lose your room key it does not actually have your credit card number printed on it. If you don't have or want to use a credit card, you can put down cash or Disney Dollars or a Disney Gift Card at the front desk to be charged against on your room key.

In the past I have brought only $10 cash to the parks with me, and I usually go home a week later with $10 cash in my pocket. You just don't need cash at WDW.
