Unofficial Dis PPP - 28th Aug 2007

It seems that almost every Dis member that happens to be vacationing at WDW on Aug 28th is going to be at the PPP!!! Since there are going to be so many of us, maybe we should think about meeting up, or at least keeping in touch in the lead up to what we seemed to have deemed this year's Unofficial Dis-PPP!

We had an ADR at the Plaza Restaurant for about 5:45pm and then I think for the majority of the time you'll find us on BTMRR, although we might just get off long enough to watch the fireworks and the late night parade. What are anyone else's plans?

So many DISers! Wow! DBf and I won't have any funky costumes but we'll both have on Pirate shirts and backpacks with our lime green Mickeys.

No ADRs this night. I'm thinking CS at Cosmic Ray's for dinner. My main goal is going to be character pictures this night! The stepsisters & stepmother are a must do! Also, Aladdin in his Prince Ali outfit. I'm a crazed person when it comes to character pictures! We are definitely going to watch the fireworks and do the second parade. I'm SO excited!

All of us going to the PPP on the 28th---our trips are almost here~!~!

My 'pirate and princess' crew are grabbing a quick dinner at Captain Cook's before heading out for the party. I'm working on my LGM to hang on my messenger bag so other DISers at the party can spot me.

I'm going to be working on my costume tomorrow - I'm going as Tinkerbell. My sister is going as Jasmine, and my mum hasn't decided!! We're chilling in the morning, have a lunchtime appointment at BBB, then over to MK for the party.

No one will miss me, if I get my costume finish, it's lime green!!!! Believe me, if they turned the lights off in the park, I'd light the place up, it's that bright a green!

And this time next week, we'll be approaching Orlando! Woohoo!

Wow! There's a lot of DISers going to be at the P&PP on 8/28. irate:

We are going to 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort for dinner around 5:00 and will spend the night partying with you all at MK, if we're not too wiped from spending the day at Typhoon Lagoon. DH, DD and I will be wearing POTC tee shirts and seeking out Capt. Jack Sparrow and Cinderella, and riding POTC, watching the parade and fireworks.

We also plan on doing TL during the morning, eating lunch there and then back around 1 back to Sports to change and then head to MK for the rest of the day and evening. We are eating at CP for 5:10. We will be the family wearing black shirts with yellow lettering that says PIRATES. If you see us come up and say HI. Can't wait, just think 2 weeks from tonight I'll already have met my Captain Jack. Life will be good!!!

Well i won't be wearing a costume that night, but i will have my official DIS button on my Pirates top, and probably a tiara too We're gonna be at Kona cafe at 5:20pm, then monorail it over to the party, hope to see some of you there

This is our last day - nothing like ending it on a bang! So, we'll be packing and hanging out at the resort all morning. Our goal is to arrive about 4:30 and stay until closing. So, we'll need to be well rested.

Keeping the costumes simple - red shirts - dark shorts, pirate hats with blinking eyes for the boys. I'll see if I can't manage to get a LGMH attached to my fanny pack. We leave in just a few days - so I'm not certain how much time I'll have to organize it.

We will be at the party too! DD will be going as Elizabeth Swann in her asian pirate lord out fit. I am not sure if I will be in a costume or not. We have 4pm dinner ressies at LTT and will be doing the Family Magic Tour in the AM. What a great MK day for us!!!

We will be having dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern at 5pm and then going to the PPP. We have never been to one of these parties so we don't have any idea what to expect. We would love to meet other Dissers!
My DGDs will be wearing tiaras and hopefully my DDIL and I will also. I will have my passporter fast pass holder with LGMH and my name in the middle. I will also try to have a few others splashed around on the girls backpacks and me, too!!!

Hey! Can't wait for PPP! The Fam & I will be Dining At Trails end for breakfast, then off to Typhoon Lagoon . Prob do lunch there and then back to POP. We have ADR's @ LTT at 6:45. Then off to explore the Kingdom and hunt down Captin Jack. I'm wearing my Pink Pirates of the Caribbean t-shirt and a tiara! The Rest of The DFamily wi be wearing pirate or princess t shirts, and of course I'll have my LGMH with my user name on it! Hope to see you all there!

Hi All!

We are going to have a late breakfast at O'hana, and then lounge around the pool and relax. We have reservations at LTT (I think at 5:15 or so), and then we are going to be party animals! This is a mother/son event for me and ds9, dh prefers to relax and have some alone time. It's also a surprise for ds, although I'm sure he'll figure it out once we get to the World. I bought him a POTC shirt to wear. We will have our LGMH on the pouches around our necks, with my DIS name on mine, and his will say "Son of Worfiedoodles".

Boy, not only are there a bunch of DISers going to the 8/28 P&PP, there's also quite a few who are going to Typhoon Lagoon earlier that day. Quite a lot of you will also be dining at LTT (not us).

Anywhere you want!!! Most DISers put them on their bags , back packs, strollers, or wheelchairs, but really it is up to you.

I haven't actually seen mine yet (crossfamily is leaving me some at check-in - God Bless ) but quite frankly at this rate I'm not going to need one for the party, because I'm just going to be bright luminous green all over!!! If I finish in time to be able to take a picture, I will and post it!

Otherwise, it will be either attached to my camera bag or maybe just around my neck or something

I need to get a move on with it, or I'm going naked It's just a "little" brighter than I thought - I need sunglasses on just to sew the damn thing together. I suppose I should really stop typing and start sewing?!

Sun glasses to sew huh? I can only imagine it in the Florida Sun. J/K. I bet it will be great! I don't think the mouse will like it very much if you were to go starkers in the middle of Main street USA so i suggest you start sewing!
