We have a ton of small 2x2 inch tiles at my office. All kinds of colors. I was thinking they'd make a great craft project but can't come up with anything. I was thinking of asking if I could take some of them home but unless I come up with some actual projects I dont think I will bother.

Any ideas?

I get a magazine that had a great idea in it. You could buy a cheap wood tray and put the tiles on that for a plant tray. It looked very easy to do. I think you just had to grout the tiles, finish it off and then paint the outter part of the tray.

My niece put tile pieces over terra cotta pots. For Christmas one year, she did one with a design of a poinsetta, along with a poinsetta in the pot. she broke up the tiles to make the designs.

If you need a pic, I could take one, however the pot is empty now. I'm not good with plants.:rotfl2:

She also did the tiles over a small table for her mother's patio.:thumbsup2

You can also make magnets out of them by using rubber stamps and STAZON ink. Just stamp your favorite image on the tile, use colored pencils or sharpies to color in and put a magnet on the back and you have great handmade magnets!!!

I did this as a craft for VBS one year.
