We will be at Disney in December and have ADR's at CRT for breakfast celebrating my daughters 18th birthday! princess:

When I told my CM that my daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday there she started asking me for the birthday girls name and how old she would be?

I have read on some of these threads special things that have been done at some of the restraunts on birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Is this something that we need to plan or does Disney do something special for the birthday person?

When we were there, the server sung and snow white came over and sang along they got a cupcake and a little piece of paper that was singed bye the characters

We did our younger DD's 4th bday @ 1900 Park Fare last September and got her the slipper dessert~it was brought out by our waitress who was accompanied by CINDERELLA and everyone around us sang Happy Birthday to my DD! They also gave her a tiara and a signed placemat by the characters :) My other DD said she wanted her 7th bday there next time... little did we know we'd be going back within a year @ the time of her bday. Unfortunately, 1900 Park Fare is closed, but I tried and tried for CRT since I've never eaten there in all my trips to Disney :rotfl: After a few days of calling, an opening happened for a late breakfast during our stay and I booked it as her bday meal. I plan on ordering the slipper dessert for her as well :) even though it's @ breakfast :) It's our last full day at the parks too, so it should be great! :)

Enjoy your trip!:goodvibes

How do you go about requesting the slipper dessert? We will be celebrating my DD's 4th Birthday while we are there as well, and I have CRT booked for lunch that day. I would love to have that special dessert waiting for her!

I believe the #'s are these:
CRT 407-824-7091
or for at 1900 Park Fare:
GF Bakery407-824-2578

You have to call at least 48 hours in advance and they charge it to your CC.... this is what my DD's looked like @ 1900 Park Fare in September....

Check out the birthday cake thread at the top of this board. THere are some wonderful photos of cakes that people have ordered.
When my dd turned 13 last Oct, we ordered the big, tall cake that has white fondant on it, with the gold Mickey stamps all over it. Then we had the white chocolate castle placed on top of it, and told them dd loved Tinkerbell, so they made a stand-upTink picture, on white chocolate, and put it on the top also.
It cost about $85 but it was beautiful. The GF bakery does a terrific job.

We will be getting the slipper dessert when we are at CRT for my bday and for dd6's 7th bday there we will be getting her the mini cake w/ the castle on top.

I celebrated my 24th birthday here in april and loved it. Our table was covered in glitter and my family had arranged for a cake with the rescuers (even though the server thought it was stuart little!). The fairy godmother also sang to everyone who's birthday it was. We're be going around my birthday again in 2009 and plan to go back
