Ok, I stink at BUZZ.

EVERYTIME I go to play, I miss all the good shots. Kiddies around me are becoming Starship whatevers, and I'm still trying to get my fingers to start shooting fast!! My DFiance rubs it in playfully. Grrr!! I WILL be the master of BUZZ one day!! Tips? Tips??

Ride in your own space ship! That way, you don't have anybody trying to turn the ship right when you're about to get a good hit!

I just shoot at the bulls eyes. I think once you shoot at a bulls eye you can't score with the same one again. DD tries to turn the ship around and you can't score big that way! Last time the ride died when we were almost to the end and all the scores were wiped out! I was hoping they would let us go again, but they didn't.

I just wanted to commiserate with the OP. My DH always get a relatively high score, and I end up with 20,000 or something ridiculous. Personally, I still think he cheats.

I would suggest controling the spaceship and not let him touch the control. Of course, I doubt that will help me. Geez, who would have guessed I could get so touchy over a ride? Or is it a game? Umm...

My scoring secret is to aim for the top of the volcano- it is a super high scoring target (100,000 points)!! Aim for anything far away and up high- the farther away and higher the target, the higher the points.

Aim at the back of the robots hand and just keep squeezing the trigger. But the tip about steering the car yourself is a great one. Cuts down on the nausea and increases you score.

Aren't there a few targets just as you come in a room or as you leave a room or something that are worth a TON of points? I've seen posts about them (possibly on Zzub's most recent trip report?), but I am not sure right now where there were.

Anybody know where those secret targets are? I know the machine automaticlaly turns you away from one, you have to turn yourself back. I remember that much.

I can comiserate. I stink at this too and JP wants to go on it over and over so he can kick my posterior.

The spider as you exit the first room on the ceiling is also 100,000 points if you hit right in the very middle
also, keep shooting as you go through the star tunnel, there are still targets in there - I've hit repeatedly for 25,000 a pop

- I have tried having my own car, I've tried just pressing like a mad thing all the way round which is a tip I've read - I'm still hopeless!

Keep your finger on the trigger continuously. Can anyone explain how to aim the silly gun? I think I'm aiming at the targets but I can never see the little laser light on them - is there a trick for aiming (or am I sounding like an idiot now?)? Thanks!

Thanks for the tips and the link...maybe I'll actually be able to get some points this go round! Last time I was slightly distracted, as my 21 yo nephew thought it was more fun to aim at me in the car behind him than to shoot at things for points...that silly boy!

I have found that if you turn the car around a lot of the time there are targets behind you that you don't see facing toward all the action.

Also, and maybe this is just a special thing for kids, twice now a CM at the entrance has put a stamp on my son's hand. When you're inside the ride if you put your hand in front of the gun and shoot at the stamp (it's glow in the dark) you get a ton of extra points.
