The Kitchen Sink

OK...kiddos are dead set in getting a Kitchen Sink. When I am looking at the menu for kids, it says that their meals come in a combo that includes dessert for somewhere around $7.49ish...So what if we all want to split the Kitchen Sink? Are we charged that price for the kids meal? Will they do it separately if I explain we all want a Kitchen Sink?

:confused3

I don't think there is any way you can use DDP for the kitchen sink. We paid OOP. Great fun! There were 6 of us and it was all we could eat!

;) A kitchen sink is at beaches and cream and it is 8 scoops of ice cream , lots of different toppings, oreos, brownies pieces, and a whole can of whipped cream.. wait i'll find pictures .. BTW the four of us finished it!!;)

We aren't on the DDP. We DO have DDE card. ANyone know how that will work?

I can't believe in my 9 trips to Disney I've never heard of the Kitchen Sink or even Beaches and Cream!! I will have to put that on my list. Pictures would be fabulous if you have some!

Thanks :thumbsup2

Wow, that looks amazing! I have been to Beaches 'N Cream many times, but we never have enough room to order the Kitchen Sink.

I've never even seen it in person! Thanks for showing us the pics!

:thumbsup2

The kitchen sink is one price no matter how many are eating it, so kids prices do not apply. You can use your DDE card for the 20% discount just let them know in advance.

Ok, another silly question- what is a DDE card and how do you qualify?

Thanks!

It's the Disney Dining Experience. You must be a FL resident or an Annual Passholder to purchase the card. It costs AP holders $65 for one card. It is good for one year. You get 20% off on most table service (some are not on the plan) with holidays blacked out. You also get the discount on a limited amount of counter service (usually where there is no TS available).

The kitchen sink is huge! They use every toppping in the house and a whole can of whip cream.

It's actually a good price cnsidering regualr sundaes are 7.99.

The DDE card is an awesome deal. You can use it for up to 10 guests per meal. It will pay for itself with our first family meal (9 people) in Sept. It also gives the 20% off alcohol at participating restaurants.

That was a cute video - when the ladies were making it my mouth was watering lol!

The kitchen sink is a lot of fun when you're with a group!! Me and my sister had been looking forward to getting it for like a year before our trip, we weren't dissapointed! I have some video too, though you don't see them making it in my video, you do see some of the aftermath! We took a lot of the cookie things out of it before we started eating it. The video of the kitchen sink starts at about 2 minutes in
