AKV August Questions/DVDs/HA

I have a dedicated standard view studio for the beginning of August.

First, does anyone know if any of the dedicated studios will be HA? I have a 2 year old and I would hate to be in Florida in August without a tub.

Second, is AKV going to have DVD rentals like some of the other DVCs? I figured even if they did it might not be until the new section opens in '09.

I got my ME info in the mail today. I am so excited. I am also scared of extreme heat and construction noise.

The studios have tubs w/showers, not just showers. I don't know if the HA villas will be in Jambo, or in Kidani, or both.
Florida in August is extremely hot (and humid), so if this is a physical problem, see if you can change it for later in the year (Nov to April are usually the cool months).
IIRC, the villas do have DVDs.

Zawadi Marketplace, from what I've heard, will "rent" DVD's to DVC members, though when that's supposed to be implemented I'm not sure. They're also currently in the process of getting a MUCH expanded (like 3x the size) cooler installed....so they'll also carry the variety of food items many of the DVC gift shops carry.

Some DVC HA studios are shower only. Perhaps you should ask for a studio with a tub.

I was going to send my mom over early to check in. She is definitely not an expert and these things and I didn't want to give her any instructions that were not needed. I thought maybe there was someway to find out if any of those first room were to be HA. I guess I will call MS and hope for the best.

I would love to know about the DVD rentals. I hate to carry DVDs with me if I don't have to. I guess my son can live without them for a couple nights.

On that note, I emailed our guide the question about DVD's today.

He said they should be available by early Sept at Zawadi, if not sooner.
