Looking at this board I realize I may have waited too late. I plan on calling today or tomorrow, but hope there is still decent dining left. This is a single mom with her 2 teen dds, 13 and 17.
Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated. We had to wait to see if dd,13, was golfing in tournament first before we could set the dates.

These restaurants are sometimes overlooked:

Yacht Club Galley
Plaza Restaurant (MK)
Restaurant Marrakesh (EPCOT)
Nine Dragons (EPCOT)
Rainforrest Cafe

Also sometimes there are cancellations so keep trying for the restaurants you want. Good luck.

I've just got off the phone with Disney Dining for 07/21-08/04 and have had absolutely no problems with booking the restaurants we wanted:

07/23 : Coral Reef 1:30pm
07/25 : Boma 6:20pm
07/29 : Kona Cafe 9:30am
07/30 : Narcoosee's 8:30pm

The boards worried me about getting ADRs too!

With a little over a month to go, I just got a 12:10 lunch at LeCellier along with two other ADR's that I wanted at perfect times. These were for five people, also which is sometimes harder to get.

Good Luck!:thumbsup2

after reading some posts.....but I called Disney dining yesterday for a just scheduled trip 8/9-8/13 and got all restaurants and times I wanted.

8/10 Liberty Tree Tavern 12pm
Narcoosee's 7pm
8/11 Chefs de France 1pm
Yachtsman Steakhouse 7pm
8/12 California Grill 7:10 pm

We are only a party of 2, not sure if that makes a difference.

We make last minute plans all the time and have been able to snag:

Kona breakfast
CP breakfast and dinner
Le Cellier lunch
Cape May breakfast and dinner
Beirgarten dinner
House of Blues lunch and dinner

If you are looking for a good breakfast without an ADR - you can walk up at Spoodles when they open. That's what we did last year!

Maya Grill ususally has openings too..

Breakfasts in that area : Fresh (the best, at the Dolphin). Also Spoodles and Y/C Galley. Cape May, if Characters are what you want (interaction with them is better than the food).
Same ones for dinner, plus Y/C Steakhouse or Flying Fish (best in that area, if you don't want the expensive S/D ones, Blue Zoo, Shula's, Il Mulino).
If you want other resort places, Boma and Jiko's at AKL, and the other hotel ones might be easier to book than any in the parks.

Good luck, and remember, no one has starved from lack of food at WDW.:lmao:

I'll bet you'll get almost everything you want. Unless you're trying to get Le Cellier or CA Grille. We'll be there - at the BC 7/24 - 7/31. Perhaps we'll run into you. I would suggest Blue Zoo (Dolphin)! You should have no problem getting in there and it's delicious and the service is top notch.

We will be there 7/28 - 8/10 and I have rearranged dining plans a few days ago without any trouble including dinner at Le Cellier (early and late times available only there, but still available!) and Coral Reef, Boma's Spoodles and Brown Derby and Cape May. Since our days of needing to do character meals often are behind us the reservations are much easier to come by!!
