Best shop for souveniers at WDW??

Does anyone know what shop is best to get good deals on souveneirs? I have in the past gone to the WDW outlet store @ the outlet mall but, I really do want to stay on Disney property this time?MEDH DD DD

World of Disney in DTD is huge. I'd say take some time to enjoy DTD!

I agree that the best place for souvenirs is World of Disney in DTD. You aren't really going to find any deals though, just lots and lots...and lots of stuff to choose from!

The only deal is if you have a Disney Visa, you get 10% off at World of Disney

There actually is am awesome place at DTD for unbelieveable deals! If you arestanding outside the Rainforest Cafe, and walk towards the left and around a corner (I can't remember EXACTLY) bu tthere is a little shop there that is opened at both ends and looks like a breezeway. It is filled with a bunch of different kinds of stuff. They had everything from WDW disney wine glass markers, keychains, playing cards, toys, golf balls......everything!

They even had stuff from DL, which was a little unusual! We bought gold sequined 50th anniversary DL minnie headband, 4 for $10.00, which were priced originally at $22.50!! They have lots of stuff priced like that. We bought so much stuff around Xmas and can't wait to go back! You definately need to stop by there! Have fun!! I'll be going there in the next few weeks again!

That breezeway is a great idea. They had different prices racks depending on your budget. Once in a while there's a sale on some stuff at WOD. You have to look at tags and sometimes there's a small gold sign that reads SALE. Look in the backs and the corners of the store.

I have to agree that World of Disney in DTD is amazing when it comes to sheer variety and abundance of all things Disney! You just have to be careful because you can really spend a lot of money in there!

I'll chime in with everybody else - World of Disney is really cool. If you're looking for some specific Disney thing and you can't find it there, they probably don't make it. DTD in general is great for finding that unique, out-of-the-ordinary souvenir. Coolest store there: Starabilias.

On the AAA discount at WOD, just remember that the 10% discount only applies to purchases over $50. And I seem to recall reading something somewhere about only being able to use the 10% discount once a day at WOD. Can anyone else confirm that, or am I just making that part up?

It depends on what you are looking for. I love World of Disney for most things. However I also love mr.potato head pieces and WoD doesn't sell them so I get those at The Toy shoppe. I have found out if you want something you should get it because not all of the items are sold throughout the parks.
I also love the Disney Visa discount. Anything over fifty dollars and you get 10% off. YOu don't have to use the visa you just have to show it to them.

THAT's good to know! I'm having a tough time justifying our trip this year due to the fact that the darling ol' ex is so far behind in support payments he's waving at himself, so as long as I don't have to use the card, that's a load off .
