Closest grocery to VB?

Has anyone faxed in a grocery order from the DVC website?

Do they sell all the same stuff in the store as they do on that grocery list?

Is it worth it for the cold items?

Thanks!

I've never ordered from the web site.

There's a Publix on Rt. 1 as you leave the resort to head for Sebastian.

I am not sure of the route numbers, but if you follow Disney's directions to Vero Beach, you also pass a Publix right on the way after you leave I 95. At that point, you're only about 15-20 minutes away from the resort and that's where we stopped for things on our last trip.

Yep! That's the one we used. It's very close.

I'm going to try to link a google map I made of restaurants (blue), stores (green) near DVBR (red)....

Does it work for you?

Worked Lisa - thanks! :goodvibes

I guess we could drive over our first night and pick up groceries. 15 - 20 minutes seems long to me for groceries, though... :confused3

Hey, is there a way to print that out with the pinnings? It just printed out a plain map.

They have milk, bread and bananas at the resort? I can't remember...

Thanks!

It's not really a great drive. Maybe 15 minutes and you are at the Publix or Walmart.... We get all the groceries we need at the Publix store...

You will love VB... Because it is the best of all worlds. Truly... they accomodate all ages and desires.

Have a great trip. :thumbsup2

You can buy all this stuff at the VB store, but it is much more expensive.

Shan, They do have a few things in the store like the other DVC's, so if you just wanted to pick up a couple things to 'make do' it would be fine. So yes to milk, bread, bananas(I think) and micky bars! :mickeybar (I've been waiting for a time to use that smilie!)

We also purchased a noodle at the beginning of the trip in the store. That was a few $ well spent. It was well played with for the trip then given to another child at the end.
