ok so i will be a freshman this year and i have a few questions... my school doesn't have any lockers so we have to carry all of our stuff around, we have no school suppply list right now so i don't know what i will need, and i have a backpack in mind but i don't know if it will hold everything so...

Does your school have lockers?
What does your backpack look like?
Do you have a school supply list? If not what do u do?
What do u all use for each class?
And do u all think everything i need will fit in this backpack?

and just put whatever else you would like to add too.....and discuss...

I'm a freshman next year but..I know our highschool already.
Our school has lockers
We have 4 classes a day...we go by colored days of our school colors. For instance on a Black day we go to 4 classes the next day is a white day we go to 4 other classes.
Since I have different classes each day I'm taking a purple messager bag one day with everything.
Next day I'll take another bag the next day with different stuff in it.
Our schools usually either buy your supplies or in our surrounding towns they will print out school lists that have all the supplies you need.
Each class of ours I think is an hour and a half now.
Honestly I don't know if that will work, because I don't know what supplies they will give you.
I'm taking one about that size but I'm pretty sure all the stuff they will give us will fit.

i am thinking i am just going to use the binders that are like 1/2 an inch for all of myclasses except for geometrey and then folders too....but i don't know i hope they give us a school supply list b/c that is my favorite time of the school year...and shopping for clothes.......

Does your school have lockers? Yeah, but the are inconveniently placed inside our shops which are nowhere nere classes.
What does your backpack look like? Plain black messanger bag.
Do you have a school supply list? If not what do u do? Nope, I just buy notebooks, pencils, pens, folders, hi-liters, book covers, etc.
What do u all use for each class? For shop class I just need a notebook and pen for academic classes I need pens, pencils, binders, notebook, folders, hi-liters.
And do u all think everything i need will fit in this backpack? I guess so?

My HS has lockers. I'm hoping to keep my lock for MS because I have a hard time adapting to combinations.
My backpack is going to be whatever my mum picks out. It's going to be expensive, but it's going to last all four years if I can help it.
No, I don't have a list. We'll either get an email telling us what to buy, or we find out the first day. Just go with a pencil and paper, and write stuff down that you'll need. Buy a couple binders beforehand.
I use binders... and paper.. xD

Does your school have lockers? yes but they are no where near the classes, we're not allowed to carry backpacks in the day though.
What does your backpack look like? i dont know yet, i havent gotten a new one, summer vacation pretty much just started.

Do you have a school supply list? Finally, I got one at orientation. I bought what I needed at the beginning of the month.
What do you all use for each class? It depends on the class. Anywhere from a marble composition to 3 inch binders.
And do you all think everything i need will fit in this backpack? I really don't know.

I don't have a back pack.
I don't get supply lists. I just buy the regular items. Like notebooks, pens, etc.
The regular items, note books, pens, etc.
I don't know.

Our school didn't give a supply list. You brought a pencil and a notebook, and each teacher would tell you the specific items you needed, on the first day.

We had lockers. They were so retarted...they were degrading from old age.

At our school, backpacks were not allowed.

just dont freak out. everything will be fine. is there anyone going to your school next year that you know? because my freshman year i knew literallt no one...

Stop worrying. I was soooo anxious on my first day, but then I got together with my friends, and all was good.

You need a bigger backpack. Especially if you have to carry all your crap around. That little purse ain't gonna do it.

Just wait til the first day, take a notebook and a pencil. The teachers will most likely tell you what you need for each class. Then that night, go and buy the stuff. Because some teachers only want certain things....

Depends on if they want you to carry around all your text books. If so, do you really think you science, history, english, geometry, etc books can all fit in it?
