Hi,

We decided yesterday to go to disney starting June 18th so I had to hurry up and pick places to eat and some of my choices were of course not available this is our first trip and this is what I could get.

Princess Storybook - this is the one I am most worried about not sure about the food choices

Chef Mickeys
50's prime time cafe

Liberty Tree

Le Cellier

I wanted to do alot of character meals thought my girls would enjoy it so we have 3 total.

We just did the same thing at the beginning of May...I would say you should have no problem getting ADRs at 50's primetime & liberty tree...from my experience....Chef Mickeys and LeCellier are going to be tough...just pray for cancellations and call EVERY DAY. Good Luck!!

Breakfast, lunch or dinner for Princess storybook? Lunch there was my favorite meal of our trip last year!!!
There's plenty to choose from on the cold buffet for lunch and dinner (cold cuts and cheeses, crackers, salads, etc.) and then choose an entree that appeals to you. The shared desserts are delicious as well. The kid's meals are pretty americanized so your kids shouldn't have any problem at all. If you are extremely concerned, I understand they'll bring an adult portion of a kid's meal for very picky adults.
You got some great ADRs. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Sorry I should have said in my post these are the places that I got the reservations for.

Duh!!! You did say that...that is what I get for reading these post right after draggin myself out of bed....you are very lucky to get Chef Mickeys and LeCellier with such a short notice!! We tried Whispering Canyon cafe at WL...REALLY liked the food and entertainment (especially for kids)...however, our waitress was horrid...make sure that you ask for the non-Oopsy Daisy section :lmao: Also, Ohana's is fun for the kids (and adults) and the food is to die for!! We also ate at Maya's in the Coranado as a last minute decision...it was great...however not any entertainment for the kids...wonderful food though! What ever you choose, you are going to have a great time...take it all in stride and enjoy every minute!

I was just able to switch 2 of my ADR for 6/4 and 6/5. I was surprised that there was any availability. I switched to GG for lunch, and Mama Melrose for an early dinner:goodvibes

I do believe there is an awful lot of drama about availability of restaurants due to the DDP. ;) When people call and say they want Chef Mickey on July 4th at 6pm and they are told it's unavailable and then they post- CM is booked for the month of July...that's not quite true :) But if one called and said- I'm interested in Chef Mickey for dinner for June x-y, I'd prefer we start with date x.... my guess is they'd find something. Maybe not their first choice or an ideal time, but something.

I also think that Disney Dining would be crazy to book ALL of their restaurants to their max capacity 3-6 months out so tables are probably added regularly for Aug/Sept dates plus people are cancelling trips, changing ADRs and changing their double bookings as they firm up itineraries. (Before I have 1000 responses that tell me that's not true---- Disney dining tells people to call back closer to their travel dates to get better times for Fantasmic packages and Chef Mickey meals! They have said that they ADD adr times for both those popular dining "attractions".)

I wanted to agree with LizinSTL. Our trip is less than two weeks away and although I made ADRs two months ago, this weekend I decided on adding CP and switching our 1900 PF day, and the CM told me the times available- no problem at all!
